Virtual-On: Operation Moongate PC Port Update
As you may or may not know, the ancient PC port of VOOM is hard to find, and harder to get working right, especially on modern systems. However, I found a website where someone had been taking various Saturn PC ports and giving them bugfixes and updates to run on modern systems. As it turns out, Vir...

Re: A Certain Magical Virtual-On
Game is based on an LN released a year ago, translation is underway here . Apparently it sold better than expected and now Sega's cashing in. I recommend reading what's translated so far, gives us a little insight into piloting a VR, at least in the brief prologue bit. Honestly, this is making me wa...

Re: Online Mecha Magazine Wishing to Write Article on Virtua
The staff of the site, who are expressing an interest in the series and plan on writing a magazine article to spread interest for the series, should totally be brushed off because their site has no VO section and we shouldn't help them because they're not worth our time.
Real sound logic.

Re: Online Mecha Magazine Wishing to Write Article on Virtua
Yes, but we do know a fair amount more than others who speak English, so we're probably the best bet for these guys.
Unless you know someone who's willing to speak to the japs and translate their responses for us, the best we can do is compile what we do know.

Online Mecha Magazine Wishing to Write Article on Virtual-On
Hello. I come to you today with a message of help, as well as a bit of hope for the franchise's popularity. A recent online magazine that plans on focusing on all things mecha has shown an interest in writing something for Virtual-On. The magazine in particular is the Mechaverse magazine, and I've b...

Something such as this may not occur again if you held get-togethers on a regular basis.

A possible way to increase the VO Community
Now I'm not sure if you guys care or not, but right now there's a site in development called Mechaverse that's aiming to bring more light to all kinds of mecha series. The biggest issue would be that it's an offshoot of an Armored Core site, so while they have that series rather thoroughly covered, ...

If you can, take some pics of the parts with the problems and post them on 4chan's /toy/ board. They're used to this kind of stuff, so they should be able to help.

Re: Some links to cool VO stuff: LEGO and PAPER VR's!!!
I feel like I'm breaking a rule with triple posting... Did the obvious, lazy 10/80 edit. For whoever cares, what VR would you like me to convert next? http://oi53.tinypic.com/2i2bl08.jpg http://oi52.tinypic.com/1p9fli.jpg I'm atrocious with posing legs in LDD. http://oi52.tinypic.com/1p9fli.jpg Gave...

Re: Some links to cool VO stuff: LEGO and PAPER VR's!!!
Decided to make Raiden next, which was a pain to get maneuverable with the compact, bulky design. This one can also be bought, although it's about 104 USD. Goddamn brick inflation. Not shown is the V-Converter, which flips up like Temjin's. Part-swapped antennae. http://oi52.tinypic.com/2iw0col.jpg ...

Re: Some links to cool VO stuff: LEGO and PAPER VR's!!!
I made this earlier in LDD, basing it off of the Dia-Block VRs posted earlier in the thread. You can buy this one, although it's about $67, unfortunately. If anyone wants to try buying it, just say so and I'll upload the LDD file. http://oi56.tinypic.com/dftz07.jpg With V-Converter. http://oi52.tiny...

Re: The official Virtual-On model kit thread
Well, this is interesting... http://debondai.tripod.com/wave.htm http://debondai.tripod.com/wave1.htm The site was last updated in 2002, but the fact that this stuff was here is certainly impressive. I've never heard of a Wave Angelan kit, and finding the Shadow Temjin is pretty hard as well. Dunno ...

Re: Post your questions here
Well, might as well use this thread... I just got VO for the PC, and I have a few questions. 1. Everytime I die it ends up crashing unless I restart before the game-over screen, is there a reason for this that can be fixed? 2. Does it normally have no music? 3. Can the online play still work, or are...

http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1356622 Scroll down a bit and you'll see the guy's selling two of the Wave Raidens, the original release of the standard Raiden, and one of the One Man Rescue special Raidens, the blue one with the Gatling Gun. Unfortunately, the guy's in Malaysia, so expect crappy ship...

THE SUPA DUPA CONVENTION THREAD
Because I didn't see one. Which means either I'm going blind or there isn't one. Hopefully the latter. So, any conventions you're planning to go to? Any Cosplays? Perhaps we can do a meetup if enough of us go to one. I myself will attempt to go to Anime STL next weekend, if I'm lucky. It's in the St...
