Varryo noticed they had Grys-Vok and Striker written on their shirts in the original trailer. He was right. They should have given Grys-Vok to Frenda though. These girls don't have much powers so the idea behind the Super Move doesn't really make sense.

if you watch/read enough of index, nothing has to make sense. they'll come up with something.

additionally, frenda isn't important enough and is also dead :^)

Saten's Striker has a batting helmet. What else do you think her super could be?

I just hope she would use the shoulder launcher as a bat.

As for Uiharu maybe she would shoot flower bud missiles or something. Speaking of Uiharu, her seiyuu played VO for real and bought twinsticks for 360 VOOT. Her favorite VR is Raiden.

Too bad the Bal-series don't have detachable torsos, or else we would have something for Frenda.

Maybe it does detach since there are different kinds of Bals. Or maybe Frenda can use Bradtos who appears as two halves that come together, or Guerlain, who is all in pieces sometimes. I guess no one posted the screenshot of what Ajim and Guerlain look like at the character select, so only a couple people know what I'm talking about.

They're supposed to have a booth at Dengeki Fes on October 1st. No idea if they'll have stream time, but maybe vids will show up on twitter.

Many stores put up pre-orders during TGS, for example amiami. But dengeki online store, where you need to order from in order to get the misaka poster, only put up their listings today. I know, because I randomly searched the store yesterday and the game was not yet listed.

Not including proxy fees, the poster itself adds a large hidden surcharge. Relative to amiami's discounted "street" prices:

Regular edition Vita, the poster costs about +5700 yen
Regular editon PS4, the poster costs about +5900 yen
Limited edition Vita, the poster costs about +6500 yen
Limited edition PS4, the poster costs about +6800 yen

If your priority is instead to get the limited edition goodies as cheap as possible:

Limited edition Vita, the limited edition stuff adds about +3500 yen
Limited edition PS4, the limited edition stuff adds about +4000 yen

Therefore to get the poster or limited edition goodies as cheap as possible you should buy the cheapest version of the game possible, that you don't mind owning.

Amiami also has an optional exclusive bonus of 2 acrylic keychains however the image is not up yet. It costs an additional +700 yen no matter which version of the game you get.

I pre-ordered the AmiAmi PS4 LE with keychains. The poster isn't really VO-related so I'll pass.

Apharmd the Battler piloted by Acqua of the Black. First character from the magic side other than Index. Also check the hilarious romanization error (VOOST WEAPOM) near the bottom. shamanic wins brownie points for guessing Saten's.

I kind of want the AmiAmi bonuses and the soundtrack, but I also want to play the game day 1. Welp, I have plenty of time to decide.

I'm partial to the Google translation "Affirmed the Butler," myself.

Also, hi guys! If this game turns out to be, like, 80% as good as VOOT, I'll be stoked. Certainly enough to pull me out of video game pseudo-retirement.

ChexGuy was saying this is a classic stance, but to me it's generic, plus I feel a large proportion of the stances in Shamanic's picture are quite different from each other.

Nothing's wrong with it, of course. Actually to my eyes, Apharmd's version of the stance is fitting because it reminds me of something I might do with some of the Virtual-On toys because they aren't quite fully flexible and are limited to being a certain way.

Bit of a shame this is what we're getting for a new game.

I could imagine worse. The quick release time has some of us slightly apprehensive but they seem to have put a lot of effort in. Even if the new mechanics turn out bad, it shows they are willing to make changes and try many new things. We'll see when it comes out whether it's a disaster or not.

I can only hope that this does relatively well for them to do other crossovers/collaborations.

If Apharmd C is in, that increases the chances we will get Stein-Vok, 10/80, and Ajim.
