Last one for tonight. A couple more are in the Adobe Media Encoder queue so I'll let them encode overnight and upload them tomorrow (time permitting).
This match has some CC in it... people don't do CC-only in Ranked mode often, plus it's pretty hard with the lag, so I didn't try it until the last round. Enjoy!
Mode: Ranked
DNA Player Info (P1): Calibur Horn - Temjin / テムジン
RNA Player Info (P2): MentholMo0se - Grys-Vok / グリスボック
Stage: Public Port
Here's a close one against seabass hunter. I was probably 1/10th of a second away from winning round 1... it might not be visible on the YouTube version, but my missiles hit with 0.01 seconds on the clock... not enough time to do enough damage, so I lost the round by a 2% health difference.

I've rewatched this a couple times to try to figure out why I saved it. I think I saved it because I had a high percentage of "special" freeze cancels, and I showed some pretty good avoidance skills (at the end of round 2, I skillfully avoided several attacks and delivered the final hit).

I have a replay somewhere against Kalxath on RANK with a favorable end results . Maybe I'll record for youtube. My rank matches tend to be either a win or lost, nothing really exciting. Heh, Bal-bados.

Thanks. It was a close match. I don't think I've ever conquered Kalxath's wicked red Cypher.
How do you like the videos so far? For example, choice of replays, encode quality, etc.? Any match-ups you'd like to see, or suggestions on improvements?
Also, any interest in high-quality (high bitrate 720p at full 59.94 FPS) versions for download? I will probably make some for myself since I care about that stuff, but I'm not sure if I should bother uploading them if people are satisfied with YouTube quality.

I like the quality of your videos and opponents. Unfortunately, I'm limited to recording with component. It's still better than composite. Same as you, I also record for videos for myself. Many of which are not even uploaded. One of them is a 60fps of you against Paffy on undersea plant . If I known you wanted it, I would had uploaded it long ago for you. Keep doing what you are doing! It's perfect. There isn't much high level Grys-vok footage anyways. However, if you have any matches against SwordedShepard, Lecter5656, Dton Z horn, pppHD, WS Grammar....
For public download, sub 480p 60fps is fine. Most important is 60 fps anyways. Anything bigger seems a bit excessive. With over 1,000 VO videos at 50+ GB (none of them are my recording), I don't think I can spare the space if they were all 720p+ .

Awesome videos. Keep them coming when you have time!
The quality of videos are very good, except for youtube's 30 fps limit but that's not your fault. I can view your matches fine on my phone.
I do like your choice of viewing first player's PoV then replay the match with second player's PoV. I wish I had thought of that!

Thanks for the feedback. I'll try to get some new videos done this weekend.

Now that YouTube finally supports 60 FPS videos, I'll re-encode and re-upload the above videos (I still have all the raw captures and the Premiere files so it is relatively simple, though time consuming).

All of the above posts have been updated with the new 60 FPS videos. Now that I have Adobe Premiere installed again I will try to capture at least a few more videos to try out my new capture card (I bought it a while ago but haven't used it yet).

I don't know what level counts as good to you, but it seems true that as of late there are no active top-level Grys-Vok players playing VOOT. There are still a couple active Japanese Grys-Voks who are at least better than average, probably around MentholMoose and FlyExponent level. Soyoka plays Grys-Vok much better than them but he's not a Grys-Vok specialist, just a top-level player with many VRs.
With the diminished active population, some other VRs are in the same boat as well. There's only one active Angelan player, who is top-level, but if he leaves there won't be any left. Likewise, there are only two active Fei-Yen players, me and cure chiba (who was runner-up of the last online Japanese tournament). It's been this way for the girls since last year.
edit: I was apparently talking to a bot whose posts have now been deleted!

that bit is copy-pasted from one of MentholMoose's posts above. likewise, another post he made (that you also responded to) was the last few words from a post directly above his...
he only seems to have one post that isn't actually copy-pasted bits so that leaves me to wonder if he's a bot or doesn't know English very well.
