Virtual-On Forums

So, this is being released in NTSC and PAL regions in a couple weeks.

Would be cool to know who from the VO community is getting it so we can play some matches, etc. Should be a lot of fun to play with former rivals as friends and get some teamwork going, certainly was in VO4, after all. Sadly the japanese version has its own servers so you won't be bumping into japanese voot/vo4 players online.

I thought about it but i watched this tech on it and i decided against it. the game struggles to get above 15 frames on the Ps3 and hovers around 21 for the xbox. The city and mechs are so low res that that shouldn't be happening. the original promise to slow the game down and make it more tactical seems to have gone out the window. they should just drop the mechs and make the jet fighter game they clearly want to make,

Yeah the framerate sucks, I bet they could've kept it better if they didnt have so many visual effects(a lot of which obstructs vision anyway) I've watched a lot of streams and videos when the game came out in japan and it looked fun enough so I think I'll like most of the game.

Is there even a demo to try this game out?

I've heard some good things about ACV, but I was never really into AC and probably won't get it. Really the only mech game I've ever liked was VOOT.

Nah, but would be weird if they don't put the single player demo up soon. Doubt they'll do the multiplayer demo a week before release like in japan but that was a great idea.

I'm mostly interested in the teamplay elements, gameplay is faster than old ACs but slower than 4/4A

Shame about the server is locked by regions. If anyone wants to play, I just got Armored Core 5.
