I'm trying to find someone that can do it, since I don't really have a lot of time to work on this.
I easily could, I have the skill with a soldering iron, and I definitely have the time. What I don't have is easy access to the pcb's needed.
I've built 2 sticks previous to the twin-stick project, so i'm no stranger to it...pics upon request.

The controller (MadCatz "retro" stick) I used is $9.99 new at EB Games, if you can find a store with it in stock (it's discontinued... I wonder why

Also, does anyone happen to know if there is an adapter to use PS or PS2 controllers on Xbox 360?

You can get this:

This version is supposedly the best of all the PS2/360 adapters. It is a bit pricey though.

Thanks for the link. It is a bit too pricey.

I think you'd be better off looking for a Chthulu board to mod any of the 360 pads/sticks for any kind of PS2/3 compatibility.

I didn't see this in time. Even though they are OMG sticks, I probably would have put in a bid.

Those sticks don't look like the normal Saturn/DC or even the VO:OT arcade sticks. The base of the sticks look like JLW's too, or very similar.

Sanwa JLW's? with the VO grips?
Are those even VO grips?
Are the JLW's sanwa? I think so...

The panel is for the versus city version of OMG (AKA "VOOM", the first VO), and the handles appear to be OMG handles.
EDIT: I found a pic of an HSS-0130 with this panel installed.

I would love to get my grubby paws on some instructions of how to do this - I've got an extra set of DC sticks, just waiting to be modded.

You know what Menthol? I'm thinking about installing the PCB on my mod the other way, so that the analog nubs have the space from the bottom of the DC casing to not be tripped, and I'm gonna try to stick the headphone jack piece through or near enough to the VMU hole to be useful. Plausible?
EDIT: Attempted to get started tonight...ended in tears. I'm having trouble with the precision soldering of the wires to the bracket that connects to the twin stick. T_T

Here are some tips for the mod from Mitch (old school Japanese VO player in SoCal).
Mitch wrote:
a little(?) more information...
1) i used 360 wired controller.
according to the websites, the wireless one is hard to work with. also newer version of wired controller is recommended because "ground line design" on new PCB is integrated together to one line in all degital switches so it makes easier to mod.
if you buy a new controller at stores now it should be newer model, but it is good to check anyway. the one i used for this time was the one i purchased in Jan 2008,and it was newer one. lucky!
2) other than tools and DC stick and 360 controller, all i need was a 15 pin connector cable (male-female type, 6ft), which was about $8. I cut it at the middle of the cable and used it.
3) try to work without taking off the small black boxes connected to analog triggers which are analog switch.
you might have to take them off from the board to work on, but you have to put them back on the board after that if you do so. if there are nothing there at the trigger area, the x-box will detect small volume(since it is analog) of "on" signal which will give you problems.
the trigger parts itself is not needed, but this little black box needs to be connected to the circuit in "neutral" position. it is easier to leave this whole section on the PCB if you can to avoid this problem.
I lifted up one side of the trigger parts to do soldering and put them back on to the original position. or you can cut some of the plastic trigger part off from the board so that you will have much clean work area for soldering job.
4) as you can see them on the website, what I did was "digital switch mod" only. I did not do anything to analog things. which are:
A,B,X,Y for right stick controll
direction pad(Up,Down,Left,Right) for left stick
R button, L button for trigger(weapons)
stick click switches on both analog sticks for turbo buttons
these can be arranged by modifing the button arrangement using "Stick Type B" in VOOT game option.
also I connected the 360 start button to the pause button on stick as start button, and the 360 back button to start button on stick as for the special button(you need this for Raiden!).
counting above make total of 14 lines you need to connect, and also counting the ground line makes 15 lines as whole total for 15 pin connector cable.

Soon, very soon shall I have my custom TwinSticks..
Now all I need to do is do more research on finishing touches, like the artwork, how to place the headset port and the guide button.. but for now I'm happy I got all the most important pieces!
