Re: Q-Steps on 360
Odd, I haven't noticed any difference in Q-stepping for this version of VOOT. It must really be related with the analog sticks instead of being digital like in the DC VOOT. Twin Sticks solve it quickly; still need to get that, using a twin stick setup with the 360 gamepad feels awkward for me due to...

Re: Impressions!
I played the game for two hours before I had to take off from work (yep, posting this from work lol), played about 30 minutes of arcade mode and the other hour and a half with a friend of mine who also got the game. OH MY GOD!!! Ok, that's my first impression. :D A bit more indepth now. The game's f...

Re: VO Links. Other BBS. Plus some old guides.
400$ for a 5.66 ROM? Doh!!! Guess I won't be getting one for a while. :( I want one even after getting 5.66 for the 360, because I want my Naomi board to have some good use (plus, I'm a VO nut). :) Yup, pricey indeed. During the initial supply glut from many VER.5.66 cabinets being downgraded--err,...

I'm pretty sure those buttons can be assigned to a function if you customize the control scheme, they just happen to have no set function in the default setups.

I'm from Europe, Comrade Pete.
I'll play with anyone really, the lag can't be completely atrocious, at least considering we're no longer in the dial-up age.

Re: why!?
As suicidal as it may sound, if you're playing with Apharmd B, go into CC range, or you can't do enough damage. Essentially the cycle is: -dash right/left, at the very end of the dash, fire your RW (to make the dash go that little extra further, since the damage won't really be significant), avoidin...

Re: Cust-Plus
I tried Cust-Plus with the 5.60 Customisation Disc just now, Apharmd C is fun! I know the one in 5.66 plays a bit different (and doesn't have some missing effects the one in the customisation disc does) since 5.66 is somewhat faster than 5.45/5.60(customisation disc), but it was a good demo for me o...

Re: Share your VO experience or history
That sounds like it was really cool, VMS.
Since I'm from Europe we never got the Netlink service over here, so I was limited to some friends who were also VO players at the time.
Curse SEGA for not bringing it here at the time, I'd have been all over it.
