Re: Roll call - who is still playing VOOT!?
I still play, except high school's started back up for me, and I have all the exit exams and crap to prepare for since I'm a junior. Yes, exit exam preparations in August. My school puts every single one of their students into a slaving study cycle that lasts an entire year just to make them look go...

Re: Looking to pick up MARZ and OMG. Anything I should know?
I have the US version so no VR database for me, lol.
I think there's 39. I'd have to find my MARZ disc to actually make sure. Alternate color schemes for the VRs that have them also don't have to be unlocked in the US version for some hilarious reason. >_>

Re: Looking to pick up MARZ and OMG. Anything I should know?
Certain VRs only have one or two color schemes as far as I know, and the J/V should've been unlocked on your first playthrough after beating the earth missions iirc, I know mine was. The special VRs like the Rose Myzrs and the SHBVD Raidens are unlocked by beating them after you achieve a certain ra...

Re: Looking to pick up MARZ and OMG. Anything I should know?
EDIT: Hatter almost makes up for the rest of the game just by himself. YES! GOOD JOB! CONGRATULATION! ORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORA Which version of the game are you playing again? Also, the only one that plays like ot is Temjin type A8, you don't have to do too much to ...

Re: Post your questions here
Sort of random, but in addition to what Schooly said try using aerial soccer bombs every so often to catch them off guard. It's sort of trial and error and you'll eventually just know when to use it, usually during dash attacks or when they're landing after a jump. I found I can make them quite a ha...

Re: Tier list thoughts?
I really need to learn how to use those weapon disablers in battle; instinctively I can never find a good time to use them. They are easy to avoid, and I've never felt they were particularly useful other than as a harassment weapon. That's how I've always felt about them, so I pretty much never use...

Re: advanced techniques
Perhaps someone can help me this. I saw a Dordray player use a move similar to Temjin's spinning sword melee (multiple rotations one). For the life of me I can not recreate this move. Anybody know how to do it? Also BARREL ROLL :!: Crazy melee spin like Dorkas's spinning hammer in OMG? Rotate + sta...

Re: VOOT Youtubes
These aren't really VOOT youtubes, they're more like some of my old OMG matches against the CPU from a few years ago, but I figured I'd post them in here rather than make a new topic. Ignore the stupid captions(not the annotations, the WMM captions), if you would. I was 13-14 at the time, and probab...

Re: Looking to pick up MARZ and OMG. Anything I should know?
You're probably already aware, but when you play OMG for the first time it's going to be a bit trickier than OT. Dash canceling is done a bit differently(Hold the sticks in the opposite direction of your dash and press dash again if I remember correctly), and it's like everyone is using the 1080SP, ...

Re: Share your VO experience or history
I first played Operation Moongate in like...1997 I think, I was like five years old at my sister's boot camp grad up in Missouri and they had a VOOM machine set up somewhere in there. Don't ask me why. I gave it a shot and I've been like obsessive over it ever since. I spent a lot of time scrounging...
