Wow, I've got to get my arse off MW2 and back to VOOT next wednesday. Zaarock is my melee sponsor.

Re: Virtual-On "Force" Trailer
Holy crap! That VR transformed into Jaguarandi from the first Virtual On game! I loved those all-killing lasers. But is it me, or does that look a lot slower than the action in VOOT?
EDIT: By the way, MentholMoose, very nice looking updated site!

Re: Good Games/ Bad Games Thread
Good games to ZAAROCK, DoomHUNTER, ALARIC and NGE42 And for Alaric, DOOM and NGE42 here's the link to the story I was talking about. http://www.aolnews.com/story/texas-man-threatened-deadly-force-to/975047 "999 trillion dollars" Good games to Zaarock, Helbeast, and aniKingVOOT (who once a...

Re: Good Games/ Bad Games Thread
Thanks to neoKEN for that bout of Ranked matches yesterday - you fight better when there's some stats involved! I was proud to dodge your floating mines for the better part of twenty seconds in one fight. Also good games Zaarock and your friend whose name eludes me. Those sword moves are great, but ...

Re: US-International Tournament 3
Yep, Schooly, I screwed up the TZ conversion; it would actually be around 3am, which isn't much better, so I won't be joining this one unfortunately. Have a good tourney, everyone.

Re: US-International Tournament 3
I really want to enter...I shouldn't (essays suck), but I will. Details as follows:
GT: X ALARIC X
VR1: Cypher
VR2: Ajim (I like a good laugh as much as the next guy)
I'm pretty sure this thing starts around 5pm for me. Please don't make it earlier!

Re: Good Games/ Bad Games Thread
Thanks to Zaarock for some Cypher v Cypher games and lessons on how not to use melee drops. Your sword arm is much faster than mine.

Re: Good Games/ Bad Games Thread
Zaarock likes the ground too much, which ain't the best place to be when your Cypher's against a Stein-Vok. I think he's working on some killer moves, though, so who knows? Hell may soon be unleashed upon you...

Re: Good Games/ Bad Games Thread
Many thanks to Cosmos Owl, Markz, NeoKen, FalconPunch, and DaveRudolph, for some challenging matches yesterday! I enjoyed the change of pace with your Stein-Vok, Dave.

Re: DNA vs RNA Idea
Sounds fun; we could get some weekly/monthly scoreboards up on the forums detailing battles which took place. My only problem is with the EST time frame. Any chance of others being organised around international players?

Re: Good Games/ Bad Games Thread
Back-cCW It works well as an anti-air move when the opponent is over your head, but the slow movement of the back dash combined with the freeze time leaves you vulnerable. Oh, and good games! You remind me of a young Zaarock :P Thanks for the tip! Funny enough I was just playing Zaarock. He likes h...

Re: Good Games/ Bad Games Thread
I just met Schooly D. Probably not in the best frame of mind to play VOOT but I gave it a shot and ended up getting completely pwned. Massively pwned. There is no word in the English language to describe just how pwned I was. However, it opened my eyes to some neat tricks one can learn to use as Cyp...

Re: Good Games/ Bad Games Thread
I played against anikingVoot, I think a few nights ago (in UK so to play with you guys late nights are pretty much unavoidable). I beat his Apharmed B in our first game...and then he made me pay for it. If you're reading this, Sir, I salute you and hope I at least gave you a scare with my Cypher. Al...

Re: Post your questions here
Yep, the cCW is much more powerful, but in some cases the LTCW is preferable for it's slightly higher arc which enables it to get over larger obstacles (like Death Trap's centrepiece platform, or the ship in Space Dock). Both variants can be stripped down to one side (release either left or right tr...

Re: Post your questions here
Yeah, the animation can be cut in half by walking in the middle of cCW, LW, or LTCW, but keep in mind fewer daggers will be released with LW depending on your timing. Good for confusing opponents.

Re: Post your questions here
Ive been trying to pickup Cypher but failed miserably. It feels just like I have to relearn the entire game just to know what I should be doing. Feels so awkward to fly with high speed jet engines. And I still dont know how Cypher players make safe landing such a breeze. :S Any noob tips? Contrary ...

Re: Post your questions here
Is there a specific thread for each droid's attacks and techniques? One for Temjin, one for Cypher, one for Specineff, etc, like the one that was done for Ajim (really helpful, thanks! :D )? Only with the amount of useful stuff crammed into one or two sections of the Forum it seems like that would b...
