Re: A Certain Magical Virtual-On
I am so f***ing sick and tired of seeing anime culture taking over more and more of the japanese gaming industry. I'm not even happy that Virtual On happy the series a new game coming up. Force was already deep in anime crap (loli character, maids with adjustable bust sizes, samurai robot etc), then...

Re: Does a template or scans of the official panels exist?
Do they need to be "fixed" if they're not broken currently? It depends on which model of Twin Stick you got. If you got the yellow spring catch, you'll probably have some problem someday as they break easily. http://www.oratan.com/forum/download/file.php?id=958&mode=view Sega fixed th...

Re: Does a template or scans of the official panels exist?
are there any scans or accurate diagrams of the official panels around that would help in getting these cut and a custom overlay created. Hey there. I think you should take a look at this: http://fredo.sausage.free.fr/Photos/tuto_sanwa/TwinStick/Voot_arcade_panel.jpg The original creator is a frenc...

Re: Home 2p setup question
The Dreamcast official link cable is overly rare and pricy, and the third party one, The Dragoncast, is not reliable. Forget about DC and buy XBLA. You probably can find a new unbanned Xbox 360 for a lower price than an official Dreamcast link Cable anyway.

Re: Yahoo! Japan Auctions thread
Here is a Naomi VMU adapter for ¥3,500 . Interestingly, it is different from the actual PCB from the VOOT Ver.5.66 cab. Maybe something custom, or did any other Naomi games use the VMU? The cable is apparently from a DC controller. F355 Challenge cabs had a VMU slot so save replays and time records...

Re: Getting stuff on my VMUs
I use this software a lot when I need a 100% complete save file, very useful and works very well !
When downloading a file, remember to download both the .VMS and the .VMI file, it should work fine.
(I am actually the one who uploaded most of the VO files on this website )

Re: The official Virtual-On model kit thread
Not as far as I know. I've only seen some "garage kits" but no official release. http://www.j-modellers.net/grys2.html http://www.j-modellers.net/image/gall/grys1.jpg I guess its massive structure and complex launcher opening system makes it quite hard to turn into a satisfying model kit. :(

Re: The official Virtual-On model kit thread
I finally managed to got my hand on a model kit for a pretty cheap price (approx $20) and I have it nearly finished, still some details to fix, but as my first model kit ever, i'm quite proud  The original camo painting was clearly out of my league so I choosed to make a custom easier one, much...

I was trying to give a second chance to VO Force, and as I was unable to single out each VR and variation, I decided to make this small Excel grid to help me. http://fredo.sausage.free.fr/Autres/Force.xlsx Feel free to use it as you wish. The "Special" section was built according to this t...

Nice work.... I'm not sure where you're located but if you ever find yourself in NH you're welcome to stop by and play my OMG arcade machine. Sadly none of my friends are interested in playing against me. I like the look if your control panel though it seems kind of jarring to me to see the OMG sty...

Okay, I got my "crouch button" wired and it works just fine ! :D Here is how it's wired: http://fredo.sausage.free.fr/Photos/tuto_sanwa/UltraUlia/schema_diodes.PNG It is not wired as a stick "clic", bus as a shortcut to trigger the two inputs at the same time. I choosed this meth...

Re: Ultra-Ulia TwinStick
The very climax is when I want to perform a "crouch+special" with Grys Vok, Stein Vok or Angelan, and it misses 95% of the time due to the position of the Special button (it's easier with a Dreamcast Twin Stick though). OK, I've found where the problem comes from. In fact, the Crouch Spec...

Thank you Menthol ! ;) There is something that has been bothering me for a while. I know I'm not the very best VO pilot ever, but dammit I love thi...

Seimitsu does not seem to want to answer my request... By the way, I've found this page whose author seems to have thought a lot about fixing thos spring catches, with several ideas: http://blog.goo.ne.jp/kagami-en/e/59b0c62fc31b16101c6ac3b3a1da9cc5 http://blog.goo.ne.jp/kagami-en/e/b28be1adb5...
