IMD1, welcome to the forums! Sorry I didn't catch you on IRC, I've been busy with... uh, certain Twin Stick related tasks.

Re: Share your VO experience or history
Tell me about it man. That game is sooooo deep. Like...so ahead of its time it's not even funny. I, for one, don't dissect games though...and try to figure out all the little intricate details, but I definitely see a huge difference between VOOT and any other fighter out there. New thread for chara...

Just be careful, maybe call them to see if they have it and sound like a legitimate company. Let us know how it goes!RVR - 42 wrote:Ha! =P Man 1$5.00!? I hope that site is real. Hahah! But seriously I need to get on this...like i'm ordering one this weekend. The longer I wait the harder they'll be to find.

Re: Machine Select - Which VR do you play?
My best is Grys-Vok. With online play, and hopefully a lot of competition, I will look into honing my skills with other VRs. Specifically, I'd like to be good with Specineff and Bal-Series.

Re: Modded Saturn Twin Sticks for Xbox 360 - in progress
I was mostly kidding around, although I think high level Grys-Vok play requires sticks. :) Fixed that for you. I don't need Twin Sticks to make my Cypher avoid your missile-spamming. Hahahah! You two are killing me. xD! Cypher's what im talking about though man. Nothing beats a transfigurable mech....

Re: Show your cool or useless VOOT memorabilia
So yea see MM...that WATC disc rocks. Hold on to that man. How dare you down talk it! =P Of course I'll hold on to it, and I guess it's isn't that bad... I was just exceedingly disappointed (as was everyone I know that saw it, e.g. Scott R., Tom, and others), particularly with the small number of m...

Re: Simple question about VOOT CPU difficulty (JP Dreamcast ver)
Welcome to the forum! I believe 8 is the highest, but the setting doesn't make much difference. Also, yes, you are probably getting better.
Will you be getting the Xbox 360 version?

Re: VOOT 5.66 on XBLA this April, 1200 points
Scott gave me the info awhile ago, I just haven't gotten around to it, I was gonna try to find the real deal first, since I didn't understand half of what to do lol. Do you have the instructions, or a link? Your best bet is the aforementioned "dragoncast" version. I don't see any on eBay ...

Re: Share your VO experience or history
OK, well here's my VOOT experience. I basically never played the original, although I had interest. When VOOT came out on the Japanese DC, I preordered and had the game and Twin Sticks at launch in 1999. I played mostly single player and some split screen with a friend, but I didn't improve much due...

Everyone, share your experience with VO! What got you into the game, and when did you start? Did you play the original? Do you use Twin Sticks? Were there other players in your region, and what region were/are you in?

Re: Modded Saturn Twin Sticks for Xbox 360 - in progress
Oh, it's on, buddy. Just because you're the national champion and I've never played anyone who knew what the controls were, you think you're cock of the walk. Well I've got news for you: I'm really good at Halo, and that's like the same thing. You. Me. Spring 2009. Xbox Live. Bring your A game. Wel...

Re: Show your cool or useless VOOT memorabilia
I think MentholMoose was being sarcastic. Anyway, I think Cacophanus has videos of some of the WATC matches on his YouTube channel. Yep: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-4qvpPdos1Q Just the finals, and the quality ain't that great, but there you go. I was being quite serious. The DVD is almost empty...
