Re: I feel like I've hit a wall in Virtual On

I have a really bad habit of trying to play at close range with bal. I think you engage in CC more than any other Bal player I've come across. Maybe AphB is really your guy. :) I wouldn't have a clue about how to use Bal effectively, but isn't he designed to be used mostly at long range? I tried Ap...

Re: Thoughts on a properly new VON

Customization is wonderful in Armored Core. :P But VO is not AC...so it definitely should not be in a Virtual On...or if it is...no weapon switching...maybe just cosmetics as someone had said. But yea a version 5.99 would own. Use an improved 5.66 M.S.B.S. totally what they need. Gosh SEGA...why don...

Re: Thoughts on a properly new VON

I like my Virtual On as a one-on-one fighting game. Maybe a Tag system could be implemented similiar to the capcom VS series. Switching between two different VR's in the middle of the match, with unique tag team attacks and assists could be fun, but not something that I think VO needs. Too much cus...

Re: Thoughts on a properly new VON

Oh my gosh! I totally like...have a great idea for this...and I thought I had posted it somewhere, but maybe not. >_> I don't have the time to post all of my ideas, but I definitely want the ability to choose from different generation of Vrs. It would be like a Virtual On Tournament like Tekken Tag ...

Re: Articles covering VOOT VER.5.66 for Xbox 360

I hope they both see it and properly interpret it. It's one thing if they realize why people like this game, and so it's good that they're doing the survey and such--so either they release other stuff like OMG, or they begin building the next Virtual On game that's a proper successor to VOOT with t...

Re: Impressions!

While I own both a PS3 and an Xbox and play both regularly and abhor anything even resembling a silly console war, I will say that Xbox does have VOOT, and as of right now, that is all that matters to me. But unfortunately for me, my job/family makes it hard to play VOOT during the week, So I have ...

Short hop. Yea it kinda is, basically. But like air dashing while low to the ground, yea. But the swallow's tail or whatever...you know? The thing where you engage in CC without actually being close. *shrugs*

Heck yea...selective fire owns. I remember when I discovered that with Cypher. Was so like, "Whoa!". Pretty nifty trick. This isn't so much an advanced technique I guess but air dashing in between the apex of your jump. Can't remember exactly what it's called. Definitely comes in handy whe...

Wooo! This place is heating up. Vr pilots everywhere. I am really hoping SEGA sees what the people want. A new VO in the style of VOOT. It would be epic. Not having a 360 I am unable to participate in this momentous occasion, but im listening and observing. Seems to be pretty positive. The majority ...

Re: Share your VO experience or history

I was enraptured by the photos of Virtual On OMG arcade. The game looked so beautiful in photo. Digged the mech design. Knowing it was by Sega mean at least there is some high standard of quality. Virtual On for Sega Saturn was an easy buy for me. Turned out it was greater than I expected. A lot of...

Yeaaah baby! Less than a month away. :D So I guess this is a rather time sensitive topic, but I figured it would atleast be interesting to know what everyone else is looking forward to.
