Re: Sync Ratio?
All my VRs have been exclusively raised on one round matches since I never save my online progress. I've never checked rounds vs matches but it should be very easy to check once I get back into Force again. Just make a new VR, win a 2 round match, and check if your sync ratio became 1% or 2%. I'm av...

Re: XBLA Cypher Trooper Virtual On available now! [VOOM]
Wouldn't this game let you remap your controls? (I haven't gotten it myself yet, waiting on my region transfer time restriction to finish). I think that out of all the VO games, the first one is the one where it is most beneficial to remap the controls on a pad, to make repeated CW canceling as easy...

Re: Account region migration is now possible on Xbox Live
Hmm, I originally made 2 Japanese dummy accounts, neither with a Japanese e-mail address. And my console IP is of course located in the USA. On one account I redeemed a Force boob code. On the other account I downloaded the free game Monster Hunter Frontier to get infinite 48-hour codes. So I suppos...

Re: Virtual-On OMG and Sticks for PS3 and 360
Sorry to say it, but Belgdor and Fei-Yen are not competitively viable in VOOM. They pretty much stand no chance against any experienced opponent, it's way more unbalanced the the worst possible imbalance in VOOT or Force, for example the 10/80 series etc. When the game releases, more than likely the...

Re: Account region migration is now possible on Xbox Live
Even if VOOM releases only in Japan, you should still be able to purchase it the old way. Make a separate Japanese account and use it to buy VOOM. Once purchased and downloaded, you should still be able to play VOOM on your normal USA account, as downloaded content is licensed to your console. The m...

Re: VOOT Night
I should be there, that's pretty much the perfect time for me actually. Although no one else ever plays VOOT during that time. Hopefully someone else can join too though because I suck and Grys-Vok and Specineff both smash me. Depending when I get home I might be playing another game instead, using ...

Re: Virtual-On OMG and Sticks for PS3 and 360
Guess I've got two weeks to get readjusted to VOOT (from Force and/or inactivity) before I have to switch to VOOM mode. I think playing all the VO games helps a lot for each other, but I don't like playing them simultaneously because it gives me bad habits and execution timing problems. I need a hyp...

Vash says that he no longer has that e-mail so he would like it if you could temporarily change his password to something and tell it to him. Or if that's not possible, he asks you to delete that account entirely and he will make a new one.

Re: Tier list thoughts?
Everybody seems to be using Specineff forward-diagonal dash crouch CW nowdays. I don't know who doesn't, anymore. But it's usefulness doesn't surprise me. His forward dash crouch CW would probably have been better except it doesn't exist, it turned into the sliding board move. I just think of it tha...

Account region migration is now possible on Xbox Live
Starting just recently, mid-January 2013, it is now possible to easily migrate your Xbox Live account to any region you like, by using xbox.com. http://support.xbox.com/en-US/billing-and-subscriptions/account-management/change-region Of course, we should expect this system to be glitchy, and who kno...

MentholMoose, Ministry Master Vash said he forgot his password and he would like you to reset it for him or give him a new account, if possible.
He doesn't know your e-mail so he says he has no way to contact you.

Re: Playing the PC port of Virtual-On: Operation Moongate
Wow! I never knew that there was a way to enable back 60 fps through a hidden debug menu. I wish I knew that back when me and some friends played Virtual-On on PC. Then again it wouldn't have mattered back then, as when the game released it ran too slow on even the most powerful PCs of the time.

Re: OMG's Achievement list is out
Thanks for the translation, I guess it's not as scary as I thought then. I was thinking it might have said to press Up then Down then Left then Right, and do the whole thing 100 times. If you can just roll the sticks and it is 100 total inputs, possibly even counting diagonals separately, then it do...

Re: Strange Ending Music
That is odd, I have never encountered that.
The only time it doesn't play Jupiter for me is when I clear Arcade mode with TWO female VRs, in which case I get the female VR ending music instead.

Re: OMG's Achievement list is out
Force had relatively easy achievements but the in-game trophies take some time. I'm only at 50 hours myself since I do not save and count the hours that I play online. I like easy achievements. At the very least they are better than glitched achievements that are impossible to get. When does VOOM co...

Re: Buying items from Japan
I have used this site http://www.japonicamarket.com/ at least 10 times over the years. They are the only courier site I have used as I try to buy from Japanese sources that do ship overseas when possible. When I originally found them I did my research and they were the cheapest for most scenarios (w...

Re: Yahoo! Japan Auctions thread
That's annoying, thanks so much for teaching me something new. Maybe this affects all Japanese websites or google searches, not just Yahoo Japan Auctions. That's what scares me more, I wonder how many opportunities I may have passed up over the years for all sorts of Japanese merchandise? I've been ...

Re: Virtual-On OMG and Sticks for PS3 and 360
What are the differences? Well, I can think of one that is pretty obvious, though I'm guessing it isn't the same things the Japanese players are complaining of. Since the game is widescreen, you can see much more to the sides now. However this issue has been around since Dreamcast VOOT because it al...

Re: More VO in Super Robot Wars UX
Not to worry, you'll randomly find us soon enough like SoulSkull did. These days the players who play most often are probably neoken and myself, although since I don't have convenient internet access I tend to take my xbox offline for extended periods of time during which I play other offline games,...

Re: More VO in Super Robot Wars UX
One of the things I don't agree with is the general tendency of people to prefer a faster game. It's shared by many players of all skill levels, but I think many players prefer a faster speed without really thinking about what makes a good game. Contrary to popular thought a faster game speed can so...
