It's not a shield in VOOT. Unlike VOOM, you can get hurt. And I'd honestly prefer if Cypher could not SLC. It gets in the way of the forward air dash CW.

I'm no threat. I don't even have the Xbox anymore sadly. I'll try to watch the tournament though, hopefully we've grown since the last one. And the prize was really good last time, so greedy people should sign up too so I have more rounds to watch.

Nothing amazing though, and most of the other ones were just me changing what I thought were ugly colors.

I might not be the best one to say this as I'm never around, but I think the VOOT community is small. Maybe we should shoot for one big tournament per year, when we can get a really high attendance figure.
