How to fight with Dorkas: technicalmanual10.jpg ...and Temjin: technicalmanual11.jpg Just for fun, the list of Virtuaroid nicknames and introductory texts (including typos, comments between parentheses): Temjin, the Blue Lightning : Piercing through the flame, the invincible beam-sword makes the way...

Re: The Virtual-On Book thread

And to conclude for now, my personal all-time favourite VOOM book: Virtuaroid Technical Manual This book is great for a variety of reasons. It is the only book that is a true art-book that does not only show CG models. The drawings are great. It has pages explaining how the Virtuaroids work using ca...

Re: The Virtual-On Book thread

Matrix Collection Together with Wall of Truth, THE set of Oratorio Tangram books to have. The Matrix books were first released separatedly, and later on in a nice hardcover case together with the One Man Rescue book. CG illustrations, and only that. They're partially different from Wall of Truth. m...

Re: The Virtual-On Book thread

MARZ guidebook #3 (blue and white cover): Another B5 format book, with nicely large illustrations of the various mechs, playthroughs, level information, and my favourite feature of this book: a chart showing all of the different color schemes for all of the mechs together. psbluemarz1.jpg psbluemar...

Re: Raiden is a Sniper

So...um...similar to how you can use Viper II as a close-combat mech and even take on Apharmd head-on with chained sword-blows and of course Viper II's third close-combat weapon (the homing beam also works at close range :D )

The Myzr is back in development, since it was shown at the latest hobby show in Japan. Coming out this winter, if everything goes alright.

On the other hand, that new Kotobukiya Belgdor...no news since the first announcement back in February, and no updates to the Koto blog since May. R.I.P.?

Re: Post your questions here

Would a X-Box 360 Arcade with 256 Mb internal storage be enough to be able to play VOOT? Because they are closing out on the older X-Box models in my country right now, and they have some nice package deals...150 Euros for an X-Box + a couple of games...

Re: Yahoo! Japan Auctions thread

If there's a reason that auction doesn't sell (it's been on there for at least a year!), it's that it is waaaaaay overpriced.

Re: The official Virtual-On model kit thread

Hasegawa's 1/100 model kits can be had from online shops like http://www.hlj.com . I don't know how high France's duty-free import value is, but if you buy one kit and have it sent by SAL (not EMS - that always gets checked by customs in Europe!) it would surprise me if you had to pay any import tax...

Wall of truth: Table-top style book. Virtual-On Oratorio Tangram Bible. Has very nice CG art and gives background information. Shows details that no other VOOT book shows, and therefore is a must-have: truth1.jpg truth2.jpg truth3.jpg truth4.jpg truth5.jpg truth6.jpg truth7.jpg truth8.jpg

Cyber Troopers Virtual-On MARZ Perfect Book: Another small-format game guide. Virtual On Schematic (Operation Moon Gate): Between A4 and B5 format. This is essentially background information for Operation Moongate. There's some color computer art, but most of the book is text, giving the technical background for the mechs and the in-game world. The second part of the book co...

Re: The official Virtual-On model kit thread

Wave 1/144 Temjin OMG-version (newer kit) review: This kit turned out to be less good than my first impressions told me. First, the misaligned pegs strike again: nothing in the legs aligns correctly, and the lower arms were not good either. So I chopped off all the pegs. In the shoulders, the inner...
