Re: Another Xbox 360 Twin stick Mod, Now in TECHNICOLOR
One thin I did realize, having the audio extension in the jack, the Xbox 360 PCB thinks that there is a headset plugged in all the time.

Re: A new project of 360 TwinSticks
Nice Project, I love to see the finished results. I would recommend vinyl dye instead of paint, since the dye takes better on plastic than paint. Since vinyl dye seems into the plastic and dyes the material instead of sitting on the surface the way paint does. It means for you, no flaking or peeling...

The same country that produced an 1:1 Scale Gundam model, it was to be expected.

Re: Some interesting things i've just noticed...
Controllers are not region locked, so none of us have to worry. As for the games them selves, the North American and European versions of Virtual on still has the basic core programing from the Japanese version. Meaning they all use the same graphic engine, drivers and system resources. I do not see...

Someone I know supposed to contact me to make a Pop'n Music Controller (stupid easy), You wouldn't happen to know the tricks of the trade for making a IIDX ASC would you? The IR triggers and such I mean... The Beatmania controller? Nope can't say I have. But you can start looking at http://www.bema...

Re: The Live Monitor figured out...?
I will do some research to see if I can get any useful info. Arcade Boards can be difficult, especially older boards. I found out from a buddy how frustrating older arcade boards can be; He currently working on an old Galaga machine restoration, he almost quit the project 3 times. Okay I found this ...

Re: What system you prefer to Play Virtual-On with?
Yeah, Force is Game 3. There was a lot of confusion since the marquees had giant "4"s in the middle so it read somewhat like "Virtual On 4: Force", but that referred to the fact that it was 4 player. I know a lot of people that saw the cabs at the time were up in arms about how ...

Re: What system you prefer to Play Virtual-On with?
Ok, I see your guys points. The Xbox 360 Voot have better graphics than the Dreamcast/Arcade versions. Saturn version took a huge Handicap from the arcade version of Cyber Troopers Virtual-On. Problem with the PS3 playing PS2 games is they are still using PS2 Graphics. My only issues with the 360 is...

Re: MIDI PRO-Adapter, Alternative Madcatz GamePad for hackin
Although I am not planing any future mods any time soon, I do felt it was time to do some "homework" for potential PCBs for possible future projects. I guess the Street Fighter IV FightPad is a better choice for gutting the controller for the PCB. Someone I know supposed to contact me to m...

What system you prefer to Play Virtual-On with?
What is everyone's preferred system of choice for playing Virtual-On games at home. For the sake of Argument, I am assuming everyone's first choice is the original Arcade Cabinets. For those who don't know, these are all the systems I notice that can play or support a virtual-on game. Sega Saturn Se...

MIDI PRO-Adapter, Alternative Madcatz GamePad for hacking?
Though my web surfing, I came across this Xbox 360 game pad from Madcatz on newegg.com The game pad is also Midi adapter for Rockband 3 for the Xbox 360. This pad allows actual MIDI instruments to be used with the 360. I notice, as a stand alone this controller is a digital game pad with a decent lo...

Re: Another Xbox 360 Twin stick Mod, Now in TECHNICOLOR
Thanks for the great writeup! Thank you. I wanted to come up with a way for people to repositioned their audio jacks with out de-soldering the existing audio jack. Also a update, I got the LEDs repositioned from the guide button area on the controller. When I remember which URL it is, I will post t...

Audio jack Placement with out soldering
Okay my Audio jack repositioning worked. This was to reposition the audio jack in a custom Xbox 360 controller (my custom twin sticks) with out soldering. This will also work on any other custom Xbox 360 controller mod. There are no pictures for the time being, I hope my description is enough for pe...

Follow Up
I was thinking of the Best way to extend the audio headset port on the PCB, then I came across this a 2.5mm Stereo Audio Extension Cable MALE-FEMALE I found on eBay. Unfortunately 6 feet is the shortest length I could find. I am also delaying repositioning/replacement of the 4 LED lights to a day I ...
