i removed the screws, the plate doesn't want to come off

how'd you get them open??!?!?!

ok, i've got a pair of saturn sticks, i removed all the screws on the underside (i have 3in1 multipurpose oil) but then what do i do? i'm not sure how to remove the underplate, or what else i should unscrew. imagine teaching a 2 year old how to read, i need that level of easiness/step by step. thank...
