VO reference in 90s Arcade Racer
There's a kickstarter I've been following for over a year now for a 90s Arcade style racing game called... "90s Arcade Racer" https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/896834116/the-90s-arcade-racer/posts It's over a year past their original delivery date but it seems like they're making ...

Re: What Else Do You Collect?
I collect "Collectors Edition" video games... here's a video tour of my collection from a couple of years ago:
More recently I've been collecting less console games and spending more time on arcade machines.

Difference between Hori Sticks and actual arcade sticks
Does anyone have any detailed pictures of the stick-bases for the stick that come equipped on the HORI units? I know the original prototypes used the Sanwa Sticks but I don't think I've ever seen any confirmation of what was in the final units. I really want to know what the differences are to the o...

Re: Yahoo! Japan Auctions thread
you can fix that with Retr0brite pretty easily: http://retr0bright.wikispaces.com/ I've used it, it works amazingly well. It wont prevent it from happening again though. the only way to do that is to just paint the damn thing. On another note I can't believe someone put a Mahjong panel in one of the...

Re: Saturn joypad micro-controller?
I've never seen a total control 3 before but I agree, there's no reason you shouldn't be able to use that to dual-mod your Saturn Twin Stick. You wouldn't even have to worry about common ground. you would take the output pins that go to the cable and splice them into the input port on the TC3.. the ...

Re: Question About Arcade Parts
I know this thread is somewhat old but I'd like to give my opinion on the hardware, particularly the japanese upright cabinet stick. I think it's by far the best option for anyone building a controller in a budget situation. The OM controllers are hard to come by, and sure enough, they're awesome.....

Re: Saturn joypad micro-controller?
How does the Dreamcast controller micro-controller IC handles the Twin Sticks? Is it a different micro-controller than the one in the average Dreamcast controller? I've opened up the controllers and TwinSticks and the micro-controller is numbered differently, but it's apparently the same model, of ...

Re: Home 2p setup question
If you have two PCs with i5 3.0Ghz or better processors you can run Demul to emulate the arcade version of 5.66 Does this really work? can it seriously do linked games? I've never tried it personally but Demul does support it... theoretically you should even be able to play across the internet too....

Did you play on demul 5.7 or 5.8... 5.8 is much improved and they're releasing another new version soon that should be even better.ChexGuy wrote:the sound emulation on demul is pretty funky

Xbox 360 will have HD resolutions though, AND you can play Force as well as OMG (both in HD as well) on an Xbox 360.

VOOT Candy Cab Marquee and Arcade Harware
So I prowl Yahoo Auctions literally every day for VO stuff... recently I saw a brand new never used VOOT marquee pop up for sale as part of a lot with a bunch of other marquees (some Virtua Fighter stuff and a few other games). There was also an OMG display card in the lot which was just a bonus. I ...
