Man is HBV 502 on here? One day I'll get him. Lost 4 games in a row to him. Just get so close and I can't finish it!

He's quite good. He's not here, though... not many Japanese players are. His English is pretty good, so perhaps someone should invite him.White wrote:Man is HBV 502 on here? One day I'll get him. Lost 4 games in a row to him. Just get so close and I can't finish it!

Good games to CrouchingLiger and DoomHunter. There were some Japanese players since I started the party with a Japanese player in Socal and we invited some Japanese players.

Had a few good runs over the weekend with Crouchingliger, Metholmoose, Schooly D (who ripped me a new one) and a bunch of random people. One of these days I'm gonna have mod my DC twinsticks... Played on them on the DC the other night and realized how much harder and how much i can't do anything on them...

Good games all around, Menthol I especially enjoyed the party w/ Japanese players...too bad they weren't bilingual. Just got the first red rank medal (brig general) so finding games/receiving challenges has become significantly easier

Man, spectator mode must be cool. No longer do we need to worry about having an uneven number of players in the lobby, or worry that your opponent goes idle leaving you without a matchup.
Is it possible and smooth to record matches seen in spectator mode?
I can't wait till I get my repaired failbox 360 back.

Re: Good Games/ Bad Games Thread
I don't know if spectators can save replays, I didn't try (e.g. exit out to the observer mode and see if "replay last game" works). The games are pretty smooth, though. I noticed some minor hiccups when watching a couple of matches. Also, there is no "replay" at the end of each round when spectating.graefocs wrote:Is it possible and smooth to record matches seen in spectator mode?

Oh the spectator mode is awesome!!! I can watch you guys play in LIVE monitor and it’s absolutely the VOOT entertainment at its best. Thanks for playing everybody. Too bad I didn’t get a chance to play against everyone, but it was a great learning experience for me. Can we do this every night by any chance?

Re: Good Games/ Bad Games Thread
Haven't tried the spectator mode yet, can you switch off POV's like in observer mode?? As usual, I'll be on tonight so hit me up and we'll get a party going. I'm especially interested in watching menthol's grysvok vs aniking's raiden ie clash of the titans. Now if only this game had some form of teabagging, all that I have to go on for comedic purposes is fei's butt bump and dordray's victory dance...sandsfel wrote:Can we do this every night by any chance?

Yes, you can switch between 1P, 2P, and Live Monitor.CrouchingLiger wrote:Haven't tried the spectator mode yet, can you switch off POV's like in observer mode??

MM, sooner or later I am going to figure out how to not get curb-stomped.

Was it HBV 502 or hbv502? (Yes, they're different people. I thought it was strange that I was running into variants of the same name, so I Googled it... and lol'd.) hbv502 is a swell guy. Really fond of them laser cages, too.White wrote:Man is HBV 502 on here? One day I'll get him. Lost 4 games in a row to him. Just get so close and I can't finish it!
Re: Good Games/ Bad Games Thread
GGs to Menthol, been seeing him occasionally in Ranked matches.
Everybody playing ranked at the time I've been playing is so far out of my league, but I'm honestly surprised that didn't happen sooner. More incentive to play, though!

gg to everyone in the party tonight.
Aniking has shown me that I probably need to learn some fast movement tricks. Couldn't keep up with the guy in some of those matches.
