GG's to Vash, Shamanic, Tieria, and...my brother?!

That's right, last night my brother played in his first VOOT matches since 2001. He used Dordray at first, which was always his favorite. It didn't take him long to relearn the game, as he was putting up a fight with everyone in less than an hour. He also beat Shamanic's Temjin, and I uploaded the replay. When you consider that back in the day, he pretty much dominated me almost every time, and Shamanic plays exactly like me, it doesn't seem so unusual. ;) Don't expect a PhantomPhotonX III though. His play style is dramatically different from mine, and relies more on defense and psychological mind games rather than quick reflexes and a relentless offense, as mine does. You might even say he is my exact opposite.

You might be seeing more of him in the future. He was very impressed with the intellectual nature of the game, and says he doesn't know of any game that requires as much brain power to play except for Twisted Metal. And even though he is pretty much exclusively playing Transformers on the PS3 right now, he thought VOOT was a more demanding game.

Not bad for someone who quit playing the game almost ten years ago and never wanted to come back!

GG's to Zaarock. I've had to get up in the morning more because of driving class. I don't know what time 9:00 is in Finland but i guess its a good time to play him. I feel I've gotten quite a bit better. He doesn't stomp me quite as much so I feel good!

Fredo made a triumphant return to VOOT today. Twinsticks were broken(but repaired), 360 pads were broken and my fighter mode cypher's kill count went up a bit.

I broke my 360 pads RB due to rampant crouch laser use, I think I need a new pad

I'll be going to paris with my family for 5 days now and afterwards will have to study lots so I wont be able to play as much as usual.

aniking has a nasty Dordray. Of course, that means I can't leave him alone until I beat it.

Good games to Shamanic, Aniking, Vash, Goliath, and Razgriz. Also good games to Tieria and Shamanic for yesterday's games. The highlights of this weekend:

1. VOOT players will do anything for a cookie! If the thought of beating Aniking isn't enough, the promise of winning a cookie after doing so is alluring indeed.
2. Dordray can grab and throw another GIANT Dordray?! WTF? Even better is that Aniking showed us this as he was playing against Vash, who thought he could beat Aniking's Dordray with his own. Aniking was also messing around in that match, and then he somehow managed to overcome a 90% health deficit and win after throwing Vash's giant Dordray. Truly one of the greatest LOL moments in VOOT history.
3. We got to see Aniking's Raiden again. Hurray!
4. Shamanic's fingers are probably hurting like hell right now. But the next time you see him, you will see that he is even MORE like me than you thought possible!
5. I finally got to play against Sera chan for the first time. I think we should just call him Omega Vash. He runs around the map, making you miss, and then perfectly times the Surfing Ram almost every time. I lost one and won one against him.
6. Goliath finally beat Aniking's Dordray, after about 156 VOOT matches (just an approximation).
7. Don't play in an Escalation match in Transformers: WFC if you are about to go to bed and have an extremely good Arcee player on your team. You will stay awake for an hour longer than you probably wanted due to said Arcee player keeping you alive forever.

Sorry to those of you who couldn't make it!

GG's to Vash and... and... uhh i forget the other people but GG's.
Had some really intense games ( atleast for me ) with Vash. Made me feel like Amuro near the end of 0079 when his reaction times are so fast the Gundam is having trouble keeping up :D

GGs with Tieria Arde, sandsfel, sskk2008 and Schooly D yesterday. Those pointless second attack air dash CCs were the result of me starting to use air dash rotation :P

edit: and ggs to shamanic, fredo, freescotland and chasiumen from today

After a month of vacationing in Mexico, it's great to be back home! I've gotten rusty, but hopefully it'll go away after a while.

Anyway, had some good random battles with the following:
-Goliath, who likes to make color schemes for VR's he doesn't use.
-Phantom, who is still shaken by that certain Sailor Moon video.
-Vash, who really needs to be more careful with his money. Geico only saves you so much, you know!
-Shamanic, who apparently doesn't like pie.

Good games!

And btw, here's what I meant when I said that I was seeing rainbows.
