Control Schemes?

Post by friction »

Apologies if this has been discussed-- I looked around and didn't see much.
What controller setup are people (ESP. those who used to use twinsticks) using for the 360?

Because I'm having trigger issues with my pad hack, I'll be using a custom schemes where you can manually specify what each button does.

My setup will be. IIRC it's a Twinstick setup B(?)
The D-pad will be the movements for the left stick
A,B,X,Y will be movements for the right stick
LB & RB will be left/right turbo
Left and Right Thumb button will be my left/right/center weapons. (I have to change these.)

I use same set up too. I think this is the best set up for stock XBOX360 game pad except Specineff users.

Same here, though I am having a lot of trouble putting all 4 fingers on the shoulder at the same time. If only I have the sixaxis thing for rotation...

I'm using TwinStick A setup, with some edits:

A = crouch
B = crouch + RT
X = crouch + LT
Y = jump

I use standard set-up with minor modifications...
LB = RT + crouch
RB = LT + crouch
LS push = CW

The new game contoroller for XBOX360, you can swap left analog stick and D-pad.
It may help some players who use twin-stick set-ups.

That's... quite awesome. I'll have to look into that.

I'm using TwinStick A setup, with some edits:

A = crouch
B = crouch + RT
X = crouch + LT
Y = special

I like the TwinStick setup because it feels like using a twinstick, a bit cheap one.
