Possible New VO & 2011 Survey [Survey over]
Re: SEGA update: possible New VO & 2011 Survey w/ translatio
After finishing the survey, you get VO4 wallpapers
I have a guess, THIS is what the new VO will look like on a next generation console

Oh ok...so that was a gift. They definitely caught my attention. So detailed. And shiny. :] Wonder what Viper II would look like. *dreams*

I hope the whatever new VO game they may make, it comes out on DS as well as those other platforms, 'cause I happen to have a DS Lite. Hopefully it'll have an improved version of the VO4 gameplay engine with better manuverability and unlockable information about the plot of the Virtual-On universe!
Re: SEGA update: possible New VO & 2011 Survey w/ translatio
Hm... I'll work on this tomorrow when I get back from school so I can toss out the link to a whole bunch of people I know who I've gotten/bribed/etc. into VO. Hopefully we can manage enough of a say from areas outside of Japan for them to at least consider for a split second to release a true, international release of a VO game. It'll be rejected, sure, but as long as the thought crossed someone's mind for even a second, I'd be happy. (More than a second, to be honest.)
Edit: Oh, I totally forgot. Thank you very much for the translation attempts, everyone. It'll be an honor to use your work to allow me to try and cast in my opinion.

Area to remain blank until I stop procrastinating.

Thanks for the heads up.Schooly D wrote:Both I guess. As long as the rockin' ASCII art formatting doesn't get borked, it would look prettier here.

Out of curiosity, what did you guys entered for the "other VO products you'd like to see"?
TV anime series was my answer. Imagine having Aki Toyosaki as a moeblob VR pilot, lol.

I just asked for more Kotobukiya and Hasegawa models in the future. Now I feel stupid for forgetting to ask for a VO anime as well.

>_< I'm not sure what I put. I'm thinking I said I just want a new game. xD! And then I gave them my spiel on my ideal game. Oops!

SEGA went nuts. They are crazy enough to do another VO, but Shenmue? What the hell happened?

I said I wanted a big Jaguarandi plush. I should've said anime, damn it. Anyway, this brings hope for a new arcade game... which would be great since I'm likely opening an arcade late this year/early next year. Thanks for posting this.

Re: SEGA update: possible New VO & 2011 Survey w/ translatio
Is the survey down? I get a bunch of Japanese that doesn't look like the survey upon clicking the link.

Apparently the survey ended March 25th. Didn't see them announce it on the Force website...
A big thanks to everyone who participated or wanted to participate.

For anyone wondering what the hell "mobile phone" is doing on the list for systems that Virtual-On is available on:shamanic_beat wrote:2-3) On what system did you first play Virtual-On? [mandatory]
Arcade
Sega Saturn
Dreamcast
Playstation 2
PC
Mobile Phone
Xbox 360
haven't played yet

Apparently they ported OMG to mobile phones back in 2009 or so. For real.
I'm not sure how the controls work, but i would imagine it's done similarly to the standard controls on the 360 ports of VOOT/Force.

That expression totally says, "WHERE ARE MY TWIN STICKS?!" Seriously though, I need that game so I can mod my Arcade Twin Sticks for it.

Twinsticks in Menthol's pants.
Re: Possible New VO & 2011 Survey [Survey over]
I'd love to see what the results were from this poll. Also to get the VOOT bag. Is there an expected time to see what everyone said?
