Yeah, I read about the rankings. However, I thought my idea would add some granularity among newer players. For example, if two players had 10/10 win to loss ratios, but one had a "gold" license or whatever, and the other had only "bronze", you can still differentiate between them despite otherwise identical stats.Long Shadow wrote:I think VOOT does have a ranking in online mode. If you look at the trailer (at the 30s mark), you can see these weird shapes per person in the lobby. It's a safe bet that these are player ranks
What *should* be changed in VOOT for Xbox 360?

Well, it seems to have some sort of points system, maybe. That might be something like what what you mean.
The points probably get factored into the rank. We'll just have to wait and see how it works. Also, we're not sure if the Kanji next to the ranks is a label for that badge, or if it's a separate type of rank. Though probably the former.
Damn it's getting exciting now that we know it's so close to release.

In that image, the players are ranked in order of highest to lowest, and the Kanji description matches the icon. The translation for VOOT 02 is "lieutenant general", Murayama "first lieutenant", Iizawa "private first class", and so on.Long Shadow wrote:Well, it seems to have some sort of points system, maybe. These seem to be taken from some ranking in Force (hint hint?):
