360 PCB

I'm going to be modding some Saturn twin sticks.

I've done fightstick mods and have used some really nice PCBs but they didn't have dual stick support.

Is the classic 360 controller the way to go? Or is there a better PCB out there?

*I only need xbox 360 support

Hi, the official control will be fine. However, mostly any PCB should actually work. It just depends on what you want to do. The controller doesn't really need dual or even a single analog stick as long as there are enough buttons/directions to map to everything on the Twin Sticks.

So for example, you can map the left and right sticks to the D-Pad and ABXY buttons, respectively. The various VO games even have this control scheme as one of the default schemes available (besides being fully customizable). This is what I've done and it works fine, though usability is slightly awkward as you will need to use the right stick to confirm menu choices and such.

Thanks for your help MentholMoose. I didn't realize that Virtual-On didn't utilize analog inputs.

I ended up going with the Brook PCB http://arcadeshock.com/products/brook-u ... box-one-pc

It's super slick and can do PS4/Xbox One, if I so need that in the future.

That PCB looks nice. If there is ever a need for Twin Sticks on PS4 or Xbox One I will definitely consider it (or maybe when the Mad Catz PCB I have now dies).
