VO 20th memorabilia @ Wonder Festival 2016 (july 24th)

Some new items on sale at this event on july 24th. If I'm reading right they'll also be available on segas ebten store for a limited time after july 24th?

I don't usually care about memorabilia but that 20th anniversary book & shirt sure are cool!

Nope, you'll have to use a proxy like discussed in this thread.

VOTwinstick said that he recently used a 3rd party courier service to purchase from the Sega Ebten store. Wonder Festival items in general are even more exclusive, they are one-time only events and to get their limited edition items even people in Japan must attend in person.

However, it's not hard to get most Wonder Festival items from 3rd party used item shops. Many of them don't ship overseas either, though. I predict you will be able to find the book in such places, but the price might be crazy. It is already 5000 yen at the Wonder Festival, so could be twice that much. The shirt might be harder to find.

It's not just Japan, I think even Europe and everywhere except the USA is one or two sizes smaller on everything. Guys can sort of wear any size shirt at least. But pants...

I get most of my pants from China, Taiwan, or Hong Kong. There is no size in the USA that will fit me. It is not so bad since I weigh more than I used to, but even now I cannot wear any USA pant sizes. Once in a great while I can find irregular sizes in the USA. For some reason boys' pants don't fit. Maybe girls' pants...

One time I was charged $100 customs tax to import a Misaka Mikoto's shorts from Japan. In actuality it was this 1/2.5 scale figure http://myfigurecollection.net/item/228578 with a box resembling a rocket launcher, but someone declared it as a Short Girl on the customs label. I was able to dispute the charges successfully.

Angelan and Grys-Vok figures are rare, are those official production model kits or more like garage kits?

Yes, I was going to mention this. For T-shirts I'd recommend buying one size larger. I normally buy US L and I've found Japanese XL (or LL) to be roughly equivalent. Of course sizing is not an exact science so sometimes Japanese L has been fine, and XL/LL too large. :|

Temjin & Kagekiyo's T-shirt are available in L only.
I'm lucky to ordered them in XL earlier before they were gone.

I was thinking to ask you anyway it's too late.

move..? I've never lived anywhere else lmao

my items are already in the tenso warehouse, waiting to be shipped to the US. you used a different forwarding service, right? it'd be pretty messy to ship things back and forth between them :V

no dice on my end, sorry.

Mines are in warehouse too, the shipping cost will be $67. (4178 grams)
Ounce they are over 6000-10000 grams, they cost $84 for 2-5 days shipping.
It is pretty much doesn't care to weight different.

This is why I asked if anyone wanna buy any goods from Japan. (as soon as they are not huge)
I can help them to do combine orders to reduce our shipping cost.

For example, last year I ordered 2 twinstick controllers(DC & HORI EX) and the total shipping cost are $84.
Everyone know the weight of HORI EX is huge and heavy.

What shipping method do you use? EMS became more expensive this June, so depending on the weight other shipping methods are cheaper. For light items, SAL Small Packet or Airmail ePacket are cheaper. For heavy items, SAL Parcel and especially DHL might be cheaper.

FEDEX

I check the SAL but it's only a couple dollars different

When I ask them for Parcel Post Seamail, they don't have the option on their order shipping page.

The Fedex price is good for heavy items. I had to use Fedex to ship the 1/2.5 scale Misaka Mikoto figure. But I had a lot of problems, such as the mistaken $100 customs tax. I also have a hard time getting the lazy Hawaii drivers (from Fedex and DHL especially) to actually deliver items. It took three days and five hours on the phone to get Fedex to finally deliver the Misaka Mikoto to me. They should have refunded my $100 shipping fee as well for that, but they didn't. I have to figure out a way to get revenge on them.
