[Help] H264 Encoding with FFDSHOW

Post by neoKEN »

I'm trying to make my videos as good as the VOOT videos on nicovideo. I understand that my image capture won't be as good since I'm using composite instead of s-video or component. Despite that, certain part of the image should still have some clarity like the still images screen intro of VRs and stage.

Some tips here:
FFdshow with H264/x264 on AVI container.

I can't find much info, most people use x264 CLI with a front-end like meGUI for x264 encodes. Normally what I do is edit the video (I use premiere but vdub is fine, too), encode the edited version in a lossless format, then import it into meGUI and use one of the presets with minor (if any) tweaks. Anyway good luck.

Mediacoder works well too. If you haven't you should try that.

Did this with it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWjzeub7unI
