It honestly looks closer to Custom Robo to me (though that series certainly took a few pages from VO...). Might be worth checking out, though.

From the gameplay videos, the closest game it mirrors is not Custom Robo, not Gundam VS, not VOOM, but VOOT! Really wish I had a DSi right now instead of a DS Lite.

I watched videos and holy !@#$, you're right (I was on a school computer with YouTube blocked when I first saw this). Let's just hope for an American release...

What's funny is with how the graphics are and the game is designed, it looks very feasible that a VOOT type game could be done even on SNES lol. Doesn't even need pretty 3D graphics.

looks more like VO for sure..
Custom Robo isnt this fast paced.
but good to know that someone thought the system was good enough and worth copying

VOOM: Temjin, Viper II, Dorkas.
VOOT: Temjin, Aph B.
VO4: Temjin, Aph J/C, Myzr Delta.
