Very cool! Mine is from my laptop, which I use the most and have customized. I didn't post my main desktop since it just has the default KDE4 theme, plus some effects enabled. I have some other desktops running Windows XP, but they also use default themes.

You're right, it would be cool. I could probably get it quite close with little effort, but getting it perfect would take a long time.

Well, this was my desktop for quite some time, I recently changed it to the Blue Tangram stage effect wallpaper, but my printscreen button is acting up at the moment, so meh, you get this

erm, my computer is ****-tastic, so anything past battlefield 2 is a chore to run. i'm pro at unreal tournament 2004 though. i have Starcraft, warcraft 3, and a few others, also a bunch of emulators.
