That's a good deal. The headset by itself is already 20$. With a HDD case, you can put in a cheap modded 250GB HDD.

MentholMoose wrote:How about some free Xbox Live points? With the Bing Rewards program you can get credits for using Bing which can then be redeemed for various items. You get 250 credits for signing up, and a 400 point card is 500 credits so you are halfway there! You can redeem credits for items besides Live points (gift cards, etc.).

If you are already using Bing, this is a no brainer. Sign up, collect credits, and (eventually) you get some rewards. I took a quick look and it seems like it would take a long time to collect another 250 credits for the 400 point card.
Anyone doing this? You can collect 10 points per day just by searching (1 credit per 2 searches up to 10 a day until Sept 3rd).

Xbox rewards is so much nicer. You get a 5-15% kickback on the points you spent that month. Also all hail the Google monster.

Well you can do both. Doing 20 searching on Bing only takes a minute.

Normally I use Google as well but you can get stuff from Bing without too much trouble.

Sweet, how long did it take to collect enough points?

I don't know, but don't spend them all in one place!! :)

Well I started with the 250 for signing up, probably just over a month to accrue all 500 points required, made sure to click the little ads on the side for 3 points each, and every week you get up to 10 more points for searches so I just started typing in random stuff to get to the maximum searches for points.

I really do like what they are trying to do here, even if theres a limit of like 1600 points redeemable per year, its still a nice option for those looking for a decent freebie for doing something you already do as log as you can train yourself to bing instead of google.

Better hurry!

It had been hush hush for awhile but HP is selling of their manufacturing and hard ware capacities to focus on Software. I dumped their stock as soon as I caught wind. HP is massively screwing themselves over on this.

Can't really blame them. The PC desktop market is shrinking. Consumers will eventually move to tablets in the future. Most PC owners don't play Call of Duty or World of Warcraft on their PCs anyways. Typically they use their PC for web browsing, facebook, and other casual gaming such as Farmville. The Apple iPad IS the tablet market right now. HP tried, and they utterly failed to break into that market. Before the clearance, there were reports that 250k of the HP Touchpad was shipped to Best Buy, and only 25k were sold! That is terrible!
