Edit: I'm thinking of starting the tourney 2 weeks from now @ Sat 10:00 P.M. Any complaints?

The Japanese tournament is the morning of Saturday, December 5.

So we can move it up one day or a full week, what sounds better?

I would recommend either the 28th or the 29th, depending on what works for other people. The 29th may work better since people may be out of town for thanksgiving on the 28th.

I think I can play on the 28th or 29th... I'll be out of town on Thanksgiving, but I don't think I'm staying with the family all weekend. I can't do the nights of 12/5 or 12/12, but I assume those are out of the question due to the timing of the Japanese tournament.

Is this a qualifer to the Japanese round of 8? If so, I prefer the old format of 1 game &1 VR unless the Japanese tourney is also 2 VR best of 3 games.
