I'm pretty sure the one in that link is the Asian version. For some reason it goes for less.

So is this thing for sure region-free? Have one of you guys booted it up on your console to check? Japan or Asia version?

I'm not placing an order until I have first-hand confirmation.

New post on the website... says something about the "future" of the series. Google Translate is so vague I can't make out what the hell they're after though.

So I decided to give arcade mode a run on "Normal". The AI started to evade my CC attempts at 100% efficiency at stage 5 :( All the nightmares from Marz is coming back to me now. At least the load times are great and there's much, much more VRs to try out.

Sorry I couldn't be of much help about the region thing though; I had an Asian 360 set, so even I'm not exactly sure how region-locked games goes for that, other than getting NTSC/J games and region free games.

Fetish code is out today, only redeemable via Japanese account.

Looks like a "Thank you & Enjoy the game" post.

It's region free. I tried it on my US 360.

Japanese version from the Memorial Box, which is the same as the regular Japanese version.

I just randomly watari dash and fire Radical Zapper when it's all charged. I only beat that mission once though so I may not be the best to reply.

I only got that mission once, and I only beat it with the white knight's help.

I guess I need to level up my AI partner for this then, haha. At the moment he gets destroyed in like 10 seconds, and then I have both Jags on me :o

Once someone can confirm is the Asia one is region free as well, I'll be putting money on my card to buy this sonofabitch. Bummer about the DLC codes, though.

The fact that they only work with a Japanese account. Making a Japanese account isn't too hard from what I hear, though it'd be kind of annoying to have to make a new account, just so you could use the codes.

This brings up a question: If you have a Japanese alt account that you used to punch in the DLC codes, would the extra content still work for your other non-Japanese account?

Yeah, they work. You just need to redeem the code from a Japanese account and download (100kb-ish), then once it's finish you sign in into your default account and play.

Made a JPN account, so hopefully I can get a first run edition with a DLC code and we'll be in business. If I were to download any content like a Premium Theme or GamerPics with the JPN account, will that content be accessible by my default US account?

Will JPN accounts even accept US credit cards to buy MS Points?

Can someone explain how to make a JPN account? I totally would if I knew how.
