IGN has posted some Force gameplay footage.

I don't think I'm gonna get over how slow this is. I mean, Specineff is supposed to be one of the fastest VR's...he's pretty much slower than every VR from VOOT, and it's not even close. Except for Level 1 Ajim. But that's not saying much.

Although admittedly, the player does indeed suck at the game. I'm sure that might make a difference as far as speed is concerned.

Yeah it makes a difference, but the game is indeed much slower. It is a 4P game, after all, so they had to change some things from VOOT.

are they the Tangram split into separate entities or are they beings spawned from Tangram? let me know, OK?

I don't know. Is the answer not in MARZ?

I think not. I do know that Tangram has a male half and a female half. The male half is evil, while the female half is benevolent. Do you think that these two mini-Tangram thingies appearing at the last seconds of that VO4 Force trailer are children of Tangram?

We really don't know because it pertains to Force and none of us have had the pleasure of extensive time with it yet. Once it comes out we can answer all that and more.

Also that box is sexy.

And slOMG gameplay speed FTW.

Now I hope to see some funny notes next to the Bal-series. I remember seeing the wooden rice-bucket being an inspiration for BBB back in OMG.

In VO4, Bal can summon Tangram or something that looks similar to it. It requires 2 Bal series for that to happen.

EDIT: I uploaded VO4 Bal series technique videos. Its in this thread:

For the love of god let this please be region-free or get a global release. I'm not willing to shell out for another 360 just for this game.

Hmm...that the entire game is in Japanese probably isn't good news for an eventual international release...

Did the original Force have a Mission mode?

Please, Please Please let this game come to North America/ the United States.

I would prefer a Retail Copy, but I would take a XBLA download if that is all Microsoft and Sega is offering.

How does this usually go for international releases? Did the other Virtual On games have Japanese text in the Japanese versions?

One thing's for sure, it's bad news for people importing the game. :|

VOOT DC had some Japanese in NETWORK VERSUS mode, but this was removed from the US version (as was the Japanese web browser). The little remaining Japanese text was localized. VOOT arcade had a limited localized US release (only 5.2, and only one known machine), but there was so little Japanese text that an English speaker could easily get by with the Japanese version (myself and others logged countless hours on the Japanese 5.4 at SHGL). I'm not sure about OMG on Saturn or arcade, but it was probably minimal and thus easy to localize. MARZ had an extensive story mode which was partially localized for the US release (a lot was just removed from what I've heard).

It should be fine, a little Japanese text never scared anyone who imports games. :D If I even play Force, it will only be for multiplayer anyway, and I wouldn't expect to have a problem with Japanese menus (having to team up and coordinate with a primarily Japanese player base would be the main problem).
