It's pretty sad when Wonder Boy in Monster Land and a bunch of other Sega games made the backwards compatible list, but VOOT didn't. :-|

Some Japanese players were talking about this recently and tried to make a surge to upvote VOOT. They pointed out that Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds only has 411 votes and made the list, while VOOT had 576 (it now has 598, two days later). Wonder Boy has 640 votes.

More votes is not guaranteed to help, but skimming at the overall games that made the list and their number of votes, it does seem at this point that getting VOOT a few more votes could have an effect. A couple players said that maybe I should use my mass army of clones (gamertags) to vote haha. I wrote on the vote page that I was going to, but never did. So I could add 10~50 more votes to that total if I felt like it.

what if...it wasn't made compatible because SEGA is working on a PC port?!

ok, I know there's a fine line between wishful thinking and delusion...

Maybe there's an issue with Twin Sticks support?

there's zero support for 360 controllers in any game and I wouldn't expect anyone to start soon
MS wants that M$

To promote the EX TS and EX settings mode in VO4 (planned well before VOOT release Im sure) they did an unusual assignment on their PCB. Left stick is left analog signal instead of digital. Bizarre and worthless move. Fight sticks & pad standard L- digital (up,dn,L,R). R-digital buttons/triggers (a-dn,b-R,x-L,y-up). Shoulders & Triggers self explanatory. The Hori EX series is a beautiful sight but only functional for VO. If you own EX, MOD a X360 fight pad PCB or buy PS360+ and swap the Hori out. It will work for VO on PC...if.

actually on EX the left stick is digital but the right stick is analog - it's bizarre because the two settings are either two digital (right stick = face buttons) or two analog

but yeah the joysticks on my EX feel a little funky, like the microswitches are uneven or something. I might take a peek one of these days but I don't want to break anything.

According to Zaarock there was an official announcement a month or two ago that strongly suggests they are indeed working on PC VOOT. Don't know the details.

AFAIK they only announced "a string of high-quality PC ports" (sic) following the release of Sonic Lost World on Steam (previously a WiiU exclusive), nothing specific.

Still no VOOT in the latest (2/11) update: All the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Games

Don't forget to vote for VOOT: Cyber Troopers Virtual-On Oratorio Tangram – Xbox Feedback

I did my vote.

Also hello gang, sorry I haven't been around in years. Every time I think of playing Virtual-On there's a crushing weight in my heart about it.

Finally MS started adding fighter games to the process. Found Soulcaliber and Skullgirls. I don't see others.

I don't know if any VO will move up to One. I do know, not holding my breath till does.
P.S. play...will relieve those withdrawals

So...I noticed that Force is just completely gone.

Oratorio Tangram is still there (and hasn't been confirmed), and all confirmed games are marked.

Did they just delete Force because it was never released in the US?
