I'll be there!

Question: what are the rules for choosing a character at the beginning of a match? I understand that the loser of a match can change his character, but what about going into it? If we lose and get knocked into a lower bracket, can we change characters for our next match?

Hi, at least one person will likely be donating some prizes for the VOOT and/or Force tournament.

Hope you guys enjoy the tournament. I'll try to wake up early to catch this live.

I'm honestly expecting Aniking to take all three games :P looking forward to seeing new players as well.

edit: that VOOT tournament was excellent, nice play by all

AWESOME matches, I was on the stream for almost the whole time. That's the most VO4 I've ever watched, so the speed change from that to VOOT was insane. I really hope I can see more of this kind of tournament for VO.

VOOT just finished as of right now, gonna keep watching for a bit of EXVSFB.

I was expecting Aniking to win Gundam VS, but SchoolyD doesn't have the same experience as a partner

Again, great showing for VOOT. I'm glad the West finally got to see how amazing VOOT could be. The commentator was the most hype for the VOOT finals compared to other games. You can tell in their voice and excitement.

VO4 was pretty nice too, that stream setup they had for all four players worked great.

The tournament was great. There were a couple delays but they were due to technical problems outside of the organizers' control. I have to say THANKS to temjinalpha for setting this up. It would be really great if this could become an annual event.

Meeting Aniking and Schooly D after knowing them online for so long was just great. Also, several Golfland players came to show their support, and it was fun to play some casual games and catch up with them. Plus I think Aniking was happy that Thomas came since he could get a ride in his beautiful NSX. :D

Given the lack of good western Raiden players, that was the conclusion I came to after asking the question. Odd that he would use Torin instead of the name we usually known him online as.

Who is Tex? I only slightly recall one girl Cypher player who was trying out Virtual On and she played Halo.

The only [mostly] complete bracket right now is the VO4 bracket (Schooly D/Aniking won), Challonge went down right before the VOOT matches started and they had to remake the bracket.
