Here is the setup I made. This is my first post here. And I found this site through another site.... so ill re update my post when the mod is complete.
Reverse the up and down, I labeled them wrong.
Also, I am going to do a custom overlay using this.
Added a red push button for start that I believe looks better then the orange one that was in there.
And I am going to add the xbox live button.

Looks good! I can't wait to see the final version with the new overlay.

Re: My 360 twinstick Project (From saturn twinsticks)
This is the new shot. I added headset support, as well as the xbox button. I also had to replace the PCB with a hori ex2 pcb. The madcatz one that I used started to act funny. This job though required me to make actual physical mods to the twinstick circuit itself, which was needless to say a pain in the ass.
The one thing that I do still need is some kind of plastic filler though.
I also recently contacted arcadeoverlays to get a quote on the custom overlay I planned.
I am also going to add some kind of weight to the bottom to make it more sturdy.
Other then that, it is time to use the thing!

Looks good, I like the headset jack integration.
That's not surprising. I've had one Madcatz fail randomly so far, and the ones that work have random problems with the headset.WizShaw wrote:I also had to replace the PCB with a hori ex2 pcb. The madcatz one that I used started to act funny.

Thanks
I also added you to my friends list.
Ill probably lose hard though, I havent really developed a comfort level playing human opponents yet.
Ill take some pictures of mods I did to the circuits. Basically each button has its own power and ground, which as stated, was a pain in the ass to do. Even had to run an additional wire from the trigger button.

Ah, hrm. You will lose, but don't let that discourage you. MentholMoose is kind of special.WizShaw wrote:I also added you to my friends list.

MentholMoose is one of the best VOOT players outside Japan. So, if you play him and lose, I'm saying don't be like "oh man I really really suck," and get discouraged.
Nobody knows exactly how many newbies Moose has gotten to quit the game because they got Quick Matched against him in their first multiplayer outing, but it's probably around 4,000.

Good to know, although I dont think that would classify him as special. Sounds like he has put countless hours of analytical strategies into his thought process and game.

A good metaphor would be you're in the japanese army and given a pistol (lets say a Nighthawk Predator) with one clip and no supplies and told to go find and kill Godzilla by yourself. Theoretically, you can do this, but more than likely you will fail hard.Schooly D wrote:MentholMoose is one of the best VOOT players outside Japan.
