Earthquake in Japan

Post by S-Advent »

I'm very surprised that no one created a thread on this. Aren't you worried for everyone that's in Japan, because I am. This is tragic news and I hope this will be resolved soon. We're all here for you Japan...

Tsunami And Earthquake in Japan - Well Wishes

Post by Some_Nob »

Just like to say we (Those in Australia, and more immediately, myself and our family - who run several Japanese Restaurants) are hoping for the best with the current natural disaster currently unfolding over in Japan.

Its hard to say much with such devastation shown on the TV, just know that we are thinking and praying.

A special pray to any Japanese players and there families and friends, I hope everyone has survived ( I haven't met many of you only Aniking I believe but my pray goes to all of you).

....

Hoping for all of you.

Nob.

There's an ongoing list of Actors/Actresses and big names in anime and other stuff that's getting updated somewhere, though I'm not sure where it is exactly. I'm not too worried about Katoki, a Tsunami is nothing against his long legs.

I really do hope everyone out there is okay, and that they're able to recover. We can help in at least some little way.

Dugtrio used Earthquake. It's super effective.

There's really not much we can do besides wait. NHK and TBS have a live stream going.

Update: There appears to be several small towns entirely missing and there are now over 100,000 people missing. I'll keep updating as I find more info.

May God help us if a certain religious/homophobic hate group jumps to a ridiculous conclusion that the earthquake and subsequent tsunami are acts of God, to punish the world for its so-called sin and decadence.

That's not too likely to happen.
Rather than, the Rednecks are saying it's Karma for Pearl Harbor.

I talked to our favourite japanese player earlier. Things seem to be okay on his end, and the other virtual on players we know seem to be okay too.

I am incredibly angry right now at humanity. That's all I'm going to say. Thoughts and prayers to the hurting people of Japan, I wish I could help in some capacity.

YOU JUST GOT KATOKI'D.

In all seriousness, though, the events going on are nothing short of a tragedy. My wishes and condolences to everyone in Japan.

I was grinding my teeth as I read this. Looking at their ages, though, I'm not surprised that they'd say stupid **** like this.

Now what could possibly make you say that?

Again, though, we could also try to donate. Every little bit helps.

Volcanoes erupting, Nuclear Reactors exploding and overheating, they need as much help as they can get.

Well its good to hear that you have had some contact to our Japanese Players.

It would be another tradegy itself If I dont get a beating from them as well (not that theres enough of you to do so already but I like to share the beatings.. i mean lessons).

As for donations, our family already made one to the local appeal - though perhaps we could try doing a Oratan Fundrasier? - or how bout get people to sponsor us - a VO day - all money goes to Japan?
