I'm not sure if putting wheels on it is such a good idea. It might perform a SLC and ram your TV in the heat of battle. The slightly elevated foot rest seems odd too.

These sticks nor parts have not been in production for 13-14 years. Again, grats on the find.

Yeah they are out of production, but I think it's more like 8 years. When I bought my first VOOT arcade sticks in 2000, the seller was able to get some OMG sticks.

I am playing VOOT at a computer desk, and I actually use a Fellowes foot rest when playing. I like it.

Oh sweet. I just downloaded VOOT for 360, and you can make controls to the dpad and face buttons! That should make for some easy soldering! (compared to soldering to an analog stick I mean)

Oki, so I can account for:

Big (Sticks) connector
Row A
1 <BLANK> = Empty
2 Brown + White = Right Stick, Right direction
3 Blue + White = Right Stick, one of the buttons
4 Pink = Left Stick, Left direction
5 Purple = Left Stick, Down direction

Row B
1 White
2 Green + White = Right Stick, Up direction
3 Fuchsia + White = Right Stick, one of the buttons
4 Light Orangy, brownish? = Left Stick, Right direction
5 Blue = Left Stick, one of the buttons

Row C
1 Pink + White = Right Stick, Left direction
2 Purple + Black = Right Stick, Down direction
3 White
4 Green = Left Stick, Up direction
5 Fuchsia = Left Stick, one of the buttons

Small (START) connector
Row D
1 White = I'd assume START
2 <BLANK>
3 Green = Thick Grounding Wire

Row E
1 Yellow = START
2 Blue + White = I'd assume START
3 Pink + Black = START

That accounts for everything
Though I need to find out which button is which
Is the white ground or voltage? I'd assume voltage, as ground doesn't work in my mind. Plus there is the green grounding wire already.
And what wire does what for the start button? Is there a light in there, so it needs another ground+voltage?

Of course I remember now that the sticks aren't analog, after I made the pic

Sigh I emailed Sega's arcade division and got no reply.

Anyone have any idea where I could get those quick disconnect things for the system's side? I really don't want to solder to the controller

I have slightly more information, those quick disconnects are called wiring/button looms/harnesses

I've emailed like 10 different arcade part supply sites in hopes for more info....

I found my soldering iron, breadboards, and my multimeter!

I tried connecting the multimeter to the green/ground pin, then connecting the other input to each other pin while trying to push buttons, to see which pin=which wire, but that failed...
