Yeah I think I hit a wall with Specineff, so I decided to try someone else out for a change. Why Stein-Vok, I don't know, but it's been fun so far. Zaarock doesn't seem happy about it. 8-)

Zaarock likes the ground too much, which ain't the best place to be when your Cypher's against a Stein-Vok. I think he's working on some killer moves, though, so who knows? Hell may soon be unleashed upon you...

Thanks to Zaarock for some Cypher v Cypher games and lessons on how not to use melee drops. Your sword arm is much faster than mine.

Seen many Stein-Voks, have you? Me neither. ;) I'm not amazing; Bal just happens to be one of the few VRs that Stein has an advantage over. I even almost won against a Bal player with a 1,200-300 record the other day, and anybody with a 2-to-1 win/loss ratio or better usually beats me pretty thoroughly.

I actually had the pleasure of playing against a really good Stein-Vok player this morning. I finally have some replays to watch.

Yup. Stein-vok like Grys-vok gives Bal-bados a very hard time. Bal-bados doesn't do much damage nor can he taking any of Stein's direct shot. Even at the beginning of the match, Bal-bados is at a disadvantage so he has to get the hell away as fast as possible

Those Specineff vs. Bal fights were pretty fun. Nothing like a good Bal fight to practice your dodging skills.

I also enjoyed my usual losses to XDoomHunterX; it's been a while. I'd blame it on my suckage against Angelan, but that wouldn't explain the Fei-Yen pwnage. :) Pity I had to leave just as Zaarock showed up, but I'm sure we'll fight again.

Thanks to neoKEN for that bout of Ranked matches yesterday - you fight better when there's some stats involved! I was proud to dodge your floating mines for the better part of twenty seconds in one fight.

Also good games Zaarock and your friend whose name eludes me. Those sword moves are great, but I'm glad I can still catch you with the ninja-drop-somersault-kick-thingy (otherwise known as RTLW).

Haha yeah. When it comes time for RANK matches, I try to play as dirty as possible to win. I often lose to bad players or matchups due to underestimating them (10/80, angelan, crappy temjins & cyphers). Fortunately you are not one of them so I have to be extremely alert. :D

Schooly_D! ONE OF THESE DAYS I SWEAR!

Thanks to DeltastrikeX for reminding me that I haven't improved at all in the past few months. :?

As for the mic (I could faintly hear you, couldn't make out any words)... I have one, probably underneath a mountain of crap on my bed. I was looking for it yesterday vs. neoKen and EpyonsEclipse, but couldn't find it. I usually don't use it because I play ranked most of the time, and because they're annoying to wear. I should have splurged on a wireless one.

GGs to DaveRudolph and Cipher. Also had a lot of matches with a finnish friend whose GT is I Teuska I .. he used to play pretty defensively with his Temjin just timing his fwd dash RWs but now we are having some epic sword fights and games overall.

Still having a hard time playing aggressively against specineff with cypher, shooting through walls and throwing balls blargh.

Happy new year!

Those were some good games this morning. It must be the most fun I've had with this game since buying it. GG's to:

Graham Aker
The Cosmos Owl
SolarSonic
Shamanic Beat
DaveRudolph (much improved since last time!)

A double GG's and special thanks for playing in our tournament for:

AnikingVOOT
Schooly D
Specy87

And GG's to anyone else I missed who was with us. From now on Schooly, you will have to eat an honorary Lean Pocket and Pop Tart before playing in any tournament. It's the breakfast of champions. Although we were not champions today...but who cares? It was fun. The ladder matches were great too. Now if we can only get Aniking to join the ladder...
