Oh lookie, Hasegawa (USA) asks for user-submitted model kit ideas:

We've gotta bombard them with requests for a 1/100 Force Jaguarandi! Or maybe all the OMR/FP VRs...Viper2 wrote:Oh lookie, Hasegawa (USA) asks for user-submitted model kit ideas:

Re: The official Virtual-On model kit thread
Hasegawa only has the liscense to make models for the 3rd generation Virtuaroids (as in, the ones in Force and Marz only). You'd have to ask Kotobukiya if you want any from OMR or FP.guarayakha wrote:We've gotta bombard them with requests for a 1/100 Force Jaguarandi! Or maybe all the OMR/FP VRs...
I'd like to see Hasegawa make models of the Raiden 512E2, the Kagekiyo, and the Angelan WM, though.

Re: The official Virtual-On model kit thread
Just found something interesting...
Everyone remembers that Hasgawa's Myzr Delta was originally meant to be released in 2009 before being being put on definate hold, right?
Well, back in 2008 during the 48th All-Japan Mokei Hobby show, Hasegawa actually showed off prototypes for the legs, in addition to the usual High-end CG model teaser pics.
http://qcymp.blog100.fc2.com/blog-entry-269.html (Scroll down to see it)
Found this kind of cool, since I thought that Hasegawa only finished the CAD design before shelving the project.
I wonder if there were any modifications done to the proposed kit design since then...
Also, here's a close look at the runners for the Myzr.

Hasegawa's Myzr's release page.
They're also coming out with a Apharmd T D/X kit in March that if the image is to be believed will include a lot of weapons:

Don't get your hopes to high though, from the looks of thing it's probably similar to their Fei-Yen B/H release, which is a 2-in-1 kit.

Re: The official Virtual-On model kit thread
Okay, good amount of stuff has happened since my last update:
-First off, after over a year since it was announced, Hasegawa's Myzr Delta was just released today. Finally.

-Also, there is some good progress with Kotobukiya's Belgdor. A few days ago, they posted pictures of the prototypes made to test the molds. Lookin good so far. An intersesting thing to note in this photo:

Not sure if you can notice, but it looks as if the parts for the red sensor thingie in the head and the red piece on the chest are on the same runner as all of the yellow pieces, which would lead me to believe that those two pieces will be painted on the runners (common for Kotobukiya kits, although unheard of for Virtual-On models). An a related note, I was wrong with the projected release date of the Belgdor. Apparently, it's set for an April 2011 release instead of June, as stated earlier. IMO, that's even better.
-Lastly, as Viper2 stated, Hasegawa announced their newest model, the Apharmd T type D/X. This one will include parts to build either the Type D, or the Type X, and as a bonus, it will also include pieces from all the previous Apharmd T releases (which would include types F, B, and Hatter). I guess D/X in this case means "deluxe".

That's a preassembled action figure, not a model kit, m,eaning that it's good to go right out of the package (hell, what you're looking at is the window box for the figure). This particular comes from Kaiyodo, and comes with a crapton of weapons to make all of the Apharmd variants from OMR, as well as a clear sticker sheet to mark up your toy for each version. Be careful though: this all other figure's released in Kaiyodo's V-On line are notorious for their incrdibly weak joints. Apparently, they have the stability of Ritz crackers, and many times come broken right out of the box, as was also the case for their other monoshaft joint figures. Kaiyodo's pre-Revoltech days were dark times...Fredo wrote:Holy crap, I've always wanted this figure:

Re: The official Virtual-On model kit thread
The Apharmds were fine, as was the Temjin, since they had thicker joints. Cypher though, had really brittle joints; mine came with a broken ankle, and finally got KO'd with a broken spine few weeks back (haven't played with it for a while, so the joints kinda stuck).

Not quite sure if this counts as model kit/Resin Kit material, but it might be from last year's Wonderfest.
Nice Jaguarandi figure/model, based off of the MARZ/Force design.
Edit: yeah, it's the Resin Kit released around last year. Nice photos of the kit from all around.

Re: The official Virtual-On model kit thread
I came here to post about that Myzr Delta. Isn't it gorgeous. I've gotta get that. Seriously...if I come into a large sum of money or save up enough over the summer...i'm SO buying that thing. Simply gorgeous. And to think I thought Cypher was the sexier model. WRONG! Delta's jet mode alone is nicer. <3

Be sure to have some cement ready, and some baby blue paint, delicate pieces ahead. Myzr's single feet alone is made of 20 small parts

Re: The official Virtual-On model kit thread
'twas only a matter of time. I'm surprised they didn't release this earlier to go along with the pre-order bonus for Force. Kind of disappointed they didn't include all if the parts for all four versions of the Fei-Yen, like they did with the Apharmd TD/X.
