This is pretty amazing if I do say so myself, if you haven't tried this yet, and have the means, I'd recommend to immediately.

Using a dreamcast gameshark (or xploder or something, I recommend gameshark, because it worked!) on a JAPANESE VOOT only, with this code.

00CF9F58
00000001

This will unlock stage viewer, character model and animation viewer, and a couple of other fun goodies.

Enjoy!

so there's no way to get this unlocked in the american copy, like, with a codebreaker or something?

well it unlocks...sorta.

But none of the better features work (that actually make it worth it)

the field and model viewers are removed from the US version.

The debug menu items can be unlocked in the US version (I don't remember if it's the same code). However, the debug code was removed from the US release, so when you try to access the debug features the game just crashes.

somepunk, did you get this info from Scott, or somewhere else?

Yea, I was just digging through my old txt documents, all credit goes to Scott on this one! He actually came up with the code on the spot after I asked him lol.

That's what I figured. I remember helping him test a lot of this stuff back when he was working on it. I'm still amazed. One of my VMUs somewhere should actually still have a codebreaker save with this code.

He's got to be one of the smartest and most charismatic people I've ever met, it really is wild how far he took this game, he a consistent inspiring force in my improvement. He's the only reason my Raiden even had a fighting chance at the last meet (on sticks at least) He taught me the LW to RW cancels and how dash cancel out of my center weapon properly lol. I wish he'd make a massive guide, I swear he's studied every frame of bloody animation!

Yes, he's quite good with Raiden. :)
