Uploaded replays sharing thread
If you've uploaded a cool replay using the in-game upload feature, post the details here so other people can view it while it's available. When you replace your uploaded replay, edit your existing post with the new details (or maybe make a new post, and remove the info from the old post... what do you guys think is better?).
Post your Gamertag for the convenience of others, the VR you used, your opponents Gamertag (if desired and available) and VR, who is DNA and RNA, the mode (ranked or player match), and any pertinent details.

Player match
DNA AphB(chasiumen) vs RNA AphB(me, custom color)
Probably the best I've done at CC so far and we were around the same skill level too. Won't be very intresting to some of the better players on here, but still.

Player match, May 7th 2009:
DNA: Apharmd B / UnlivedPlayer
RNA: Cypher / Zaarock(me)
comments: outsmarting aph B players is fun
Also, I just had an awesome idea. What if one of the people using the forum would upload videos of all the replays posted of here on youtube? He could post when he has uploaded and people can post new ones after
Would make this replay sharing system quite useful and get the community going!

Re: Uploaded replays sharing thread
I'll do so ASAP, or just send me a friend request. However, my DSL at home is currently broken so I don't know when I can do it.Davo87 wrote:Menthol, u havent added me yet.
Anyone is free to do that, and is welcome to post the links (preferably in the videos subforum). However, I think it's a lot of work for little gain, since youtube video quality is so poor. It's just way too hard to try to figure out what is going on when viewing a low-res, low-FPS, highly compressed video. I'll be getting an HDMI or HD component capture device in the near future, so I'll be creating high quality videos to add to this site's video section.Zaarock wrote:What if one of the people using the forum would upload videos of all the replays posted of here on youtube?

Re: Uploaded replays sharing thread
Youtube video quality is pretty good when you watch the vids in high quality(you can use &fmt=18 at the end to fake the option), a lot of users can also use HD quality which is obviously good enough. I think you need to use the right kind of pre-compression and stuff before uploading to youtube to make it look the best though.

The quality is getting better in some cases, but it's still limited to 30FPS. But anyway, anyone can go ahead and make some youtube videos, it just won't be me.

I just uploaded this. The Bal player is good... today his record was about 400-100. I haven't been able to beat him yet, though I've come close a few times.

Knowing one can upload a replay. Can it be deleted?

Re: Uploaded replays sharing thread
on VOOT's upload option? No it can't be deleted, but you can replace it with another. You're only allowed one uploaded replay at any given time.

Ranked match:
DNA: Fei-Yen Kn (Sternmeer, fixed name)
RNA: Temjin 707 (Lt Testament) (myself)
This is a very brutal aggressive Fei-Yen player, and I encourage others to play this person if you find him/her. I somehow managed to win, but when you watch the replay you'll understand how close it was.
I think i'm still riding an adrenaline high from it. ^^

I guess I'll share
Ranked Match
DNA: 1080sp / n/a
RNA: Temjin / vitrium
silly me, I decided to go up against a japanese player who turned out to be part of the top 10 admirals of somekind a total of 4 matches with the same VRs and i managed to win half of them. Even if the 1080sp is handicapped they were tough battles! And i was particularly proud of this replay because I survived melee combat

Ranked match:
DNA: Fei-Yen Kn (Sternmeer)
RNA: Temjin 707 (Lt Testament) WIN
Arena: Waterfront
Rematch with the brutal Fei-Yen player from japan. I prefered this player so hopefully there will be more. There's some crazy/funny CC action in round one. I score a good hit, then like an idiot get stuck in a corner....good job no? I won, but again, a very good match to get the blood pumping.

Player match:

Some crazy stuff going on here, its pretty hard to explain.. but yeah, fast paced Cypher VS Specineff action. One of the best matches I've had so far, for sure.

I uploaded my most recent match with Feixaq.
Witness a Specineff vs. Specineff ranked match with a 3rd round draw (because we couldn't hit each other worth a damn in the 3rd round )
