Darkrai100234, Signing off!

Post by DarkraiZero »

Xbox got red ring... And I don't think I will ever want to invest into another Xbox again. Lol
I will no longer be playing VOOT and VOOT on Xbox. :(
However, I can always be willing to play OMG on PS3. :)
I will still be on these forums of course to share love for Virtual-On series but you guys will probably never see me on Xbox again. I will still check messages on the Xbox site though.
You may remove me from your friends list though if you would like as well if I'm taking up space.
OMG: Apharmd, Temjin, Bal-Bas-Bow

That really sucks. I lost my first two fat, backwards-compatible Japanese PS3's to YLOD as well (same as RROD). At least you had plenty of warning with your Xbox 360, my prediction came true. Did you back up your saves before your Xbox died?

I still haven't bought VOOM for either system so I may see you on PS3 someday. I am waiting for it to go on sale. VOOM did go on sale for PS3 for half off last year, but I missed the news. If I knew I would probably have bought it then. I am hoping it will go on sale for PS3 or Xbox again. I am worried that it will go on sale and I won't know about it, though.

You can get another Xbox cheap though probably. I got mine for $100 used from a girl, along with a lot of accessories such as 3 controllers and extra cables. On the other hand that's why I can't dash in the right directions, do dashing CC, or rotate with bumpers, as all my controllers have different kinds of broken issues (usually bad Dpad or broken bumpers). I just switched to my 3rd controller yesterday after getting fed up with my 2nd controller. I think I wore out the Dpad, it's totally floppy now just like my 1st controller, and I can barely move.

My 3rd controller has a really good Dpad, I was surprised. I hope it says this way but I think it will wear out too. The bumpers even work on this one! The problem with this controller are that it is pink, is missing the battery pack (I use one from a different controller), and the right analog stick was eaten by cockroaches at the girl's house.

I didn't back up my saves... Mostly because all I played was Virtual-On.... and I don't think I'll buy another Xbox until it goes dirt cheap. Lol

Maybe you can find one on Black Friday. Amazon.com had the current 4GB model for $100, and I think Walmart also had a good deal.

Yeah the save for VOOT is not important to back up. Your rank is stored online on the server. The only things useful to keep are the replays and the coloring files.

The save for Force is more important to back up since it stores your unlocked colors and VR usage counts. But since we can hack that anyway if we want, that's also irrelevant.
