Getting accustomed to an OT style control scheme in MARZ

So, recently, I got back into playing Cyber Troopers Virtual-On MARZ on the PS2, and decided to play it with OT style controls in order to get accustomed to anything asides from the Auto control scheme. Any tips that I could use?
