You're right. It is indeed pad. I think instead of rotation cancel, jump cancels were used.

The 4x cLTCW at 1:45 appears to be done with rotation. AFAIK you cannot launch consecutive cLTCW that quickly (four in under two seconds) using jump cancels. Back in the Dreamcast days I had a replay of someone doing something like 10-12 cLTCW very quickly using the rotation cancel.

One of the few times, I'm not the Bal-bados in the videos! Anyways, terrible terrible matchup for Angelan. 3rd round, literally 1/2 second away from victory. The timing from the frozen spear to CW melee can't be too long or else they escape. It's nice to be able to land the spear once in a few moons, and the feeling is even better against the high level of this opponent.

This is a very famous Japanese BAL player online, known for his high success with pyramid traps (See 2nd round). The 3rd round, there was an opening and I finish him off with a Shrimp Combo. Win with style
