Hi all, I'm halfway through a 5.66 FAQ covering special moves of each VR in detail.
Can anyone confirm that some, if not all, melee attacks can detonate ICBMs? Thanks a lot in advance!

Interesting question. I really haven't seen it happen enough to say it is most or all CC. Although one of the coolest "direct" ICBM hits I've done was a fei-yen player trying some CC as I was doing forward-dash cCW. Fei-Yen took the ICBM hit while I kept dashing to safety. This was on VER.5.45.

Reminds me of a match where my opponent who was using grys-vok had like 3% health left and was lying on the ground... when I started ground meleeing him his ICBM fell on cyphers head

Intercontinental Ballistic Missile. In VOOT, Grys-Vok can launch a large rocket with an apparently nuclear payload, which is the ICBM in question. Grys-Vok has three ICBM variations... forward-dash crouch+CW, stationary crouch+RTCW, and stationary crouch+START (Grys-Vok's "special" attack).

The most epic use of a ICBM nuke in a real fight that I had seen was when a chicken Anglean was turtling in the the Santuary (Angelan's stage) with shields and the structure in the center. The Grys-vok player was getting tired of ramming missiles into the structures and napalms didn't help much.
So the next most logical thing is that the Grys-vok pilot ran straight under the structure where the turtling Angelan was expecting a desperate close combat fight to start. Instead, to his horror, the next thing the Grys-vok did was to detonated the nuke under the structure, blowing everything up.
After the nice fireworks ended, everyone became vary of a charging Grys-vok.
