What would be involved in making them work on 360?

Since it's an OMG panel, I can't really help with pics or a harness pinout (my arcade panels are all for VOOT). At a high-level, though, the procedure is just to map the harness pinout, and connect it to a Xbox 360 controller. Does the panel have a wiring harness? Can you post a lot more pics?

Also you have to decide if you want to use the complete panel, or gut it and install in some sort of custom enclosure. If you want to use the panel, you have to figure out how to mount it to a desk or table (unless you are OK with having it on your lap).

To the best of my knowledge, no such adapter exists. MS has a security system for it's controllers, and to the best of my knowledge, the only two companies allowed to make controllers besides MS are Mad Catz (and it's several hundred sub-brands it seems) and HORI.

Problem is, I don't know if the Chutlhu board acts as a PS3 controller, or a PC controller which PS3 accepts. If it's the latter, I don't know if the adapter will take it.

Soldering is the cheapest and safest option

I dunno about safest...getting a stray flake of solder on your arm sucks, take my word for it. Having said that, your connections will be much more secure, and it'll be a better guarentee that it works.

That set of sticks looks pretty old, I hope everything works for you ok when you get it. The most common thing going wrong is the micro switches and they're easy to replace.

The only thing you'd possibly need a resistor for would be if you remove the L & R trigger pots on a 360 pad. The resistor is needed so it still thinks they're there. It effectively makes them digital, which is what you want.

As for wiring, it looks like everything's connected with quick disconnects. I'd disconnect the whole lot and use new wire, it's not that difficult to map each direction and wire it up to the corresponding direction on the 360 pad. You definately need to solder these.

I wouldn't use a converter to go from PS3 to 360. They can be a bit dodgy and sometimes add lag. Go with a cheap Madcatz pad, they're common ground and easiest to solder to. The official pads have horrible solder points which are very small.

It arrived today. It weighs a fricken ton. I kid you not when I say it weighs more than I do. It was not easy for me being a small girl to carry it home from the post office. I didn't have a friend with me, I would not have made it back. My arms went numb after a few minutes of carrying it, and my back hurt.

It came complete in it's metal triangle casing.

The 2 wires at the bottom of the first picture, are apparently where I need to connect everything to.
One is a 5x3 grid of pins, top left pin missing. One is a 3x2 grid of pins, top middle pin missing. (intentionally missing for orientation I mean) Anyone know which pin corresponds to which inputs?

It's MSB version 3.3

It looks like one of the ground wires with a =O on the end that you screw into the box, the O part broke off. Not a big deal, I'm sure I can fix that

Congrats on receiving it! I have a VER.5.66 panel, and it's quite heavy, too. Shipping it from Japan cost a lot!!

Wow... how does one play with that on their lap? Better watch out for the rusty edges. I think you can get all sorts of sick from that. I'm guessing you're going to mount this.

By the way, there are 2 different auctions on ebay right now for the entire sit-in cabinets. I think one was in Cali for pickup at $599. The other was like $1300 or something like that.

By the way, what kind of joystick handles are those? I can tell they are not the Sanwa ones. But they also do not look like the Sega ones that are on the DC and SS sticks, which I thought was the same molding they used for the arcades. The turbo button is rectangular instead of circular like on my DC sticks.
