Left, center, right weapon gauges. Are we seeing something like Valforce but with Infinite Stratos characters? Is 5pb. doing what SEGA never will?!

The screen shots look promising. Have you seen any videos of this yet?

I haven't heard of this developer. Are their other games any good?

Re: Infinite Stratos: Versus Colors
No videos yet, but we have a Dec 31st release date with a 3500 yen price point.
I don't know if 5pb is actually developing or if they're just publishing - their name is associated with Phantom Breaker and a few Nitroplus visual novels like Steins;Gate.

I think 5pb is the publisher while Project YNP is the developer.

I checked out the official gallery. The stages look very basic with no apparent obstacles.

This looks neat. Also looking forward to video. There's no info on the game system in the about or character pages, eh.
Considering it was announced three weeks before release I doubt it's a big project.. but the screenshots look promising. I've heard of one of the racing games by Project YNP being good, but that's all

So are there any stores selling this that will ship internationally? I know you can get it through an intermediary but it would be nice to avoid a middleman (and associated fees).

Re: Infinite Stratos: Versus Colors
Let me check a little bit. Search reference: インフィニット・ストラトス ヴァーサスカラーズ
Seems like this PC game might not be as widely available as related stuff I've purchased in the past. So far I've only found one place:
http://ekizo.mandarake.co.jp/shop/en/it ... 11243.html
3500 yen. I didn't realize that the Japan sales tax increase from 5% to 8% had gone into effect. If you buy from Mandarake, you don't get charged the sales tax (most Japanese stores don't do that for you). However you have to buy a minimum of 5000 yen of stuff otherwise you get charged an extra 500 yen penalty handling fee. You have to buy from the same particular Mandarake store, in this case Sawara. I don't know if being a pre-order will make this difficult or not, I've never pre-ordered anything from Mandarake before, as they specialize in used stuff.
http://www.amazon.co.jp has it also. 3500 yen as well, because they will remove the sales tax during checkout. However, I tried to add it to my cart and they would not send it to me. Most items on amazon.co.jp are restricted to sell to Japan for worries of cultural pornography issues, I think. It is a lucky day when they will let you check out an item. But they do, sometimes.

The publisher has a list of stores selling it. It's good to know that Mandarake ships internationally.

Looks great for a doujin virtual-on clone. Seems like there's infinite air actions but there are good attacks for anti-air. Dash seems to be more like Acceleration of Suguri or Gundam than VO (curves automatically instead of watari-dash). Too bad there's no more complicated arenas. I hope you can turn the voices off, lol..
I'll probably pick it up at some point, don't have money to spare atm

Damn, this game looks mad budget :P
Movement and camera-wise it looks more like a 1v1 version of Extreme VS than Virtual-On.
I'll probably pick it up sooner or later, curious about control schemes more than anything.

Re: Infinite Stratos: Versus Colors
Not many people seem to have it. It's on the pricier side for a budget game, especially for an import. I might pick it up eventually just for the hell of it but it won't be anytime soon.
Camera looks pretty nauseating though, character doesn't stay in the center like VO or EXVS.
