But... what is it?

I like to think I know my VO collectibles but I've never seen this before...

My first thought was one of the novels but that's not One Man Rescue OR Fragmentary Passage and I THINK there are only two novels...?

Can one of you VO experts swoop in and explain? It's driving me crazy, it must be worth something from the price (or a rip off) but it doesn't really appear to be anything. I mean, it's something, but "white background with the RNEye" doesn't help much :X

From what I've seen, it's a book that basically gives the low-down of the stories and history behind Oratorio Tangram. It gives the history of each VR and various other things, such as the Plants that the VRs are produced in. Along with this, there's quite a few paictures of each VR's, with many close-ups showing off the details of the high-end CG models.

In other words, it's an enyclopedia for Oratan. While I definately want a copy of this, $113.99 is a bit much. You'd probably be better off getting a copy off of Yahoo Japan.

IIRC, very little texts and mostly full-page size CG pictures of all the VR's fronts and backs, and their weapons as well.

Mine is in the mail. Once I get it (together with a whole stack of other V-On books) I'll give a summary and in what it differs from the Virtual On Matrix Collection art book set, which also covers the Oratorio Tangram mechs...
